Classic newport living without the big price tag

We really enjoyed our stay in the 1845 house. But the main reason we stayed here was because they are pet friendly . This place has everything you need for a comfortable stay in newport.centrally located about four blocks away from downtown and one mile tothe beach. If your able to walk it's a great spot for sightseeing on foot. Surrounded by big beautiful victorians and interesting houses.

Great location with all the amenities!

Joan was very accommodating upon arriving. We loved the high ceilings, the place was private and we had plenty of plush towels and bottled water. We want to return with the kids this summer!

Adorable house, great location!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a weekend with our 9 month old baby, and this was the perfect place for us. The house has a nice kitchen, two full bedrooms, and a living/dining space. The decor is so cute, you'd think this was a bed and breakfast! The place is well located, walking distance to shops/restaurants, and to the cliff walk and beaches. I would definitely stay here again, hopefully for longer next time!

Great location, cozy home, good price.

  • 4 of 5

If you are not in the mood for another overpriced, crappy hotel, give this place a look. It's in a convenient location, fairly priced, and has the feel of a nicely kept apartment. Kind of like going to Grandma's for the weekend. The layout worked well for us. We were colleagues in town for four days on business. The space is in the downstairs of a house, with off street parking, and it's own entrance. The bedrooms are at opposite ends, with the living/dining/bath space in between. If you can share a bathroom and shower you'll be fine. No issues with ample hot water! It was cold during our visit. We had control of a thermostat, so no issues with heat, we were cozy. We did not use the kitchen facilities, but it was well appointed. Restaurants are within walking distance.

Overall, It was great for me.

Great stay in Newport!

  • 5 of 5

It was freezing cold this weekend, but we still had a great weekend in Newport. This house is very close to downtown restaurants and tonthe mansions on Bellevue. The house was quiet, well maintained and was a very comfortable place to spend the weekend.
