Fine, but the location is not worth the price.

This property was clean and there was plenty of room for our group of five ( 2 adults and 3 teens). We did not love the location. While this property was clean and seemed well maintained, the rest of the street was quite run down. The "motel" across the street had windows opens with curtains flying around and people hanging around throughout the day and night. It looked pretty creepy. It was also further from the boardwalk than it appears in the photos. It was definitely not worth the price.

Owner's Response: I read this review and almost fell off my chair. This rental is "fine"? FINE?? This rental is AWESOME! I rent seven of the twelve condominiums in this "association" at 302-312 E Magnolia Ave. in Wildwood. This association is hands down, bar none, THE MOST POPULAR RENTAL BUILDING AND LOCATION in all of the Wildwoods. You are less than one block to the beach and boardwalk. You are in between the two largest of Morey's ride piers. If you are coming to Wildwood for the boardwalk, this is exactly where you want to be. I'm glad that this renter mentions how clean and well maintained this property and this building are. That is most important! But that she did not "love" this location puts her in the minority. If you don't love it here then you're in the wrong beach town entirely, because E. Magnolia Ave. represents the very best that Wildwood, NJ has to offer. This is a typical "boardwalk" neighborhood. I've been renting in this association since 2005 and I can tell you that never, not once, in all my years of renting and staying here has the hotel across the street been a problem. It's not "creepy"! It's a four story tall vintage building with a very wide wrap-around front porch that caters mainly to working adults. It is well managed by a very experienced long time owner who also lives on the premises. We should mention the neighbor on the right side of the building too. That would be Notre Dame de le Mer Church! The parish anchors this block and is the best neighbor that you could ask for. Know that this renter's opinion is not typical. If you have any doubts about whether or not this is the right place for you, or if you have any questions about this condo or this location at all, please do not hesitate to contact me. Often voted as among the best in the country, the Wildwood beaches stretch on for five expansive miles — making them the largest and widest at the Jersey shore and on the entire Atlantic Coast. The very best part? With no beach tags required, they’re FREE! FREE BEACHES!

Overlooking it all is the world-famous Wildwood Boardwalk. This is 2 miles and 38 blocks packed end to end with stores, shops, water parks, eateries, live entertainment and amusement piers with over 100 rides and attractions. The boardwalk features a trolley called “The Tramcar”, which runs from end to end. “Watch the Tramcar Please! Watch the Tramcar Please!” If you have never heard this for yourself in person, you are missing out.

The sights, the sounds and the smells of the Wildwoods Boardwalk are pure sensory overload! There is something for everyone here. The Wildwood Boardwalk features several amusement parks and shops, most notably three piers collectively known as “Morey’s Piers”. You will find over a hundred rides and three different water parks to choose from.

Due to the very wide beaches, the beach is home to many sporting events, concerts, car shows, and monster truck rallies in view of the boardwalk. A stage is set off to the side of the boardwalk near Mariner's Landing Pier where several performances are held throughout the summer.

Wildwood is home to over 200 motels, built during the Doo-Wop era of the 1950s and 1960s, in an area recognized by the state of New Jersey, known as the Wildwoods Shore Resort Historic District. The term 'doo-wop' is used to describe this unique, space-age architectural style. The motels here are unique in appearance, with Vegas-like neon signs. A 1950s Doo Wop museum includes property from demolished motels such as neon signs and furniture. There are many “Neo-Doo Wop” buildings in the area as well, such as a neon lit Wawa and a 1950s styled Acme Supermarket, and even a Doo-Wop TD Bank!
