Ur stay was extremely pleasant! We were comfortable and it truly felt like a home away from home! Ana was a great host and even had mangoes gor us! How delightful! Great neighborhood and quiet too.
I recommend this cozy home to anyone!
Quiet Cozy Cottage
This place was perfect for what we were looking for: on the water, pet friendly, fenced yard with a pool. If you are looking for fancy or luxurious, this is not the place for you, but if you are looking for a clean, private, relaxing atmosphere with all the comforts of home in a location that is literally minutes from anything you could need or want, this place is perfect! The property manager was so nice and very attentive to our needs, even though we never saw her during our stay. My family had a blast fishing off the dock and swimming in the pool as our dogs ran around the fenced yard with no worries of them wandering off. There is even a local doggy swim park within minutes which was also fun for all. We will definitely be back again!
Very accommodating clean property
I enjoyed my stay, it was perfect for me and my sons..we had adequate space , property was very clean., my only issue is very minimal and that was the property is two blocks from highway exit and there are guys hanging at exit to solicit money.., this didn’t impact my visit at all but it was a concern when seeing it. With that said I would also rent again and recommended this property for others. Thank you to Property Manager who was very easy to reach via email.
Cute home. Clean. Could use some baking pans. Backyard could use some work, as well as dock area and pool. Didn't quite understand the garage clutter leading to laundry, or vehicle parked in driveway the whole time.
I'm glad to hear mentioned the cleanliness of the house, as we work very hard to make sure it is, and always try our best not to miss anything. The pool is crystal clear and balanced, and the lawn service is scheduled for every 2 weeks. But I now understand why the fence panel on the edge over the skimmer was zip-tied! the pool tools were relocated, the timer was changed, a leaf off a newly planted self-cleaning palm was snapped off, the sprinkler was turned on. Sounds like a perfectionist at work, and I do appreciate that someone is compelled to “fix” things. But when one is not familiar with the workings of things based on local climate, or when it's on other people's jobs, it can be counter-productive for the people performing the day to day work, as they have things set to how they like and suits them best. For instance, the one panel that was zip-tied, we leave that accessible so we can connect the pool hose to vacuum, and also to be able to reach with the brush when brushing the pool. To find it tied up, meant an extra trip to go get a utility knife to cut the ties before being able to do what was needed. The leaves on self-cleaning trees can be cut, but it's better to leave it to nature to do what it does best. Other trees, vines, etc can be trimmed, but again, there is a season and a reason. The boat dock needs pressure washing. It needs pressure washing once a year. This is done in October when rain season is over and the heat index isn't over 105 degrees. The weathered boards by no way impede it's use should you wish to bring a boat. The house is a 3 bedroom 3 bath home being rented as a 2 bedroom 2 bath home. That is because the 3rd bedroom, which is on the opposite side of the others, with it's own entrance from outside, is reserved for the owner. It is her primary residence. She lives in the house when not booked, and also stays there, if the booking guests are made aware before reserving, that the owner is on premises. In which case, she does not use the yard, pool, or otherwise interfere with the guests' use of the home. So to accommodate her personal belongings, the garage was sectioned into 2 areas: one area is for the washer/dryer, which also stores tools, additional supplies, and other necessities for the house to function. The other area boarded off at the bottom, is for her belongings, and other items that the family uses when they are visiting at the house. The stored items in the annexed portion of the garage, in no way hinder the use or function of the washer/dryer. When she travels to see family, her car is parked on the gravel area out front. This may happen once or twice a year. There are many kinds of vacation rentals, which run the gamut from actually sharing / co-residing in a home with the owner so that it helps to meet expenses, to the for-investment-purposes properties that are exclusively set up to rent and generate high revenue. This is one of the in-between options, where part of someone's home is made available for renting. Roasting pans are provided, however baking equipment such as for pies, cookies, etc is not. But should you ask, I can loan you mine next time. Although turning the oven on in the heat of summer is not a good idea, as grilling is the better way to go.
We loved our stay! House was big enough for all 5 of us. Ana was available with any questions even with where to eat. Great host! The pool was spacious & clean! We would go back for sure!! Thank you! Dawn
Thank you Dawn! It was our pleasure to meet you and your lovely family. So happy you had a great time. See you next time.

This house was exactly what we needed. It was clean, spacious, and the pool was a great bonus. Very nice being on the water, too. The location was right off the highway which made it really accessible to all kinds of Fort Lauderdale fun. Ana was a wonderful and very helpful host. Would definitely rent it again!
