Beautiful view of the Blue Reidge Mountains
Went out Saturday Morning at 8 am to go Turkey Hunting and had Gobblers all around me. Saw one Gobbler on the neighbors land 500 yards away and called him in for over an hour until I shot him at 79.5 yards with my 12 gauge 2 3/4 inch Ithaca pump with Federal number 5 shot. What a morning with my boy on his first Turkey Hunt !!
Spring Turkey Hunting
Property has lots of turkeys located on a mountainside where they roost in the white pines and come down hill to feed in the pastures. Unless you are in "mountain goat" shape, recommend bringing a 4-wheel vehicle to navigate the steep pasture going up hill towards the white pines. Home is comfortable and spacious. I have already booked for next year's Spring Gobbler season.
