Relax at Keuka Paradise

Bedrooms 2
Property type cottage
Minimum Stay 2 - 7 nights

About the property

Cottage - 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, Sleeps 6 (Max)

Cute 2 bedroom lakefront cottage with additional converted boathouse at water's edge with 84' of frontage - perfect for viewing the sunset across the lake and taking in the easy lifestyle of Keuka Lake.

There are approximately 20 steps down to the cottage from the car parking but once there the property is just 2 to 3 feet above the water's edge. There are two comfortable Adirondack chairs awaiting you on the porch before you enter the cottage. From here you can sit relax and watch the boats going past, the fishermen fishing or your children swimming off the dock and float in front (dock & float in lake between May 15th and October 1). There is also a full size picnic table with umbrella and charcoal grill located between the cottage and the boathouse. The gently sloping gravel beach in front of the boathouse has a fire pit and allows guests to wade slowly into the water.

The cottage has been recently renovated including tile floors throughout, a newer bathroom and kitchen with full size range, oven, microwave & dishwasher. There are chairs, a sofa, a flat screen television, Blu Ray Player and air conditioning unit in the living area. The bathroom has a shower. The cottage has two bedrooms - a queen size bed in one room and a full size bed in the other. There is also a boathouse overlooking the water that has newer windows and screens, recently water proofed, painted, carpeted, with air conditioning. The boathouse has bunk beds, a dresser and sofa and can be used for entertaining during the day or sleeping at night. Maximum overnight is limited to 6 adults/children and the maximum during the day (including guests) is 10 people.

Late Spring and early Fall are more peaceful and tranquil and a great time for wine touring, visiting local museums, boating, fishing and more.

Excellent, as always

Third year in a row renting this property, clean and cozy. My daughters love to sleep in the boathouse, so you actually have three bedrooms. Peaceful neighborhood.

Great Location! Right on the Lake!

  • 4 of 5

Recently stayed here for several nights to take in wineries and kayak. Could not ask for a better location. The cottage is right on the lake with a great beach to launch kayaks. The place is small so if you are looking for a roomy cottage this is not it. The furnishings are nice and updated, as is the kitchen. We did have quite a bit of rain, but no problems occurred. It was nice to have the deck chairs on the front porch and the view of the lake from the table each morning as we ate breakfast. We would recommend this place and would return!

Cute, clean, and close to the water

  • 5 of 5

My fiance and I spend every Memorial Day weekend in the Finger Lakes. This was our first time staying so close to the lake, and it was great.

The cottage is small, but nicely updated. They kept a lot of the original mid-century touches while making it comfortable for use today. It's also right on the water, so we spent a lot of time just sitting on the front porch while our pup played on the grass, enjoying the view. It's about halfway up the lake on the East side, so you get the afternoon sun and the sunsets, which are amazing.

There is a charcoal grill provided, which we used quite a bit, and a fire pit. There was no need to spend evenings anywhere else, in our opinion.

We'd definitely come back to this property and recommend it highly.

Great vacation

  • 4 of 5

We arrived mid aftenoon and due to some confusion with our locating the cottage, we had to contact the owner... he was quick to reply to our needs and actually came to the cottage to help (my sister). The owner was very nice (and so was his father who came with him) and was helpful in telling the location of the local grocery and some of the better vinyards.

The cottage was very clean and you could see that he had reciently made improvments. The cottage is small so if you are looking for a roomy place to stay this is not for you, however, we liked the cozy feeling of the place and especially liked the porch. There are 2 adarondack chairs where we spent the evening watching the sunsets and sampling wines. It was right on the water and the float dock was a big hit with my 8 year old. The bunkhouse was clean as well. Unfortunatly, due to some heavy rains it was too damp to stay in after the first night. This was no fault of the owner, who came to look at the situation and set up fans to dry it out.

We will definatly return next summer!

My wife is picky and Loved it...

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. This was our first time to Keuka lake and can not wait to return. We found the cottage just perfect for our needs and will return next year with our 2 daughters. It was especially clean which is critical to us and especially my better half. We did not have any reasons to reach out to the owners, but found their input on the area very informative and insightful.
