About Diana Tschirhart

I am a retired home designer/builder who loves to share. I once owned a magnificent houseboat on Lake Powell that I designed and shared with friends and family. I named the boat Amnesia with the goal of making my guest forget about everything besides the natural beauty of the lake! I have named my home in Prescott Amnesia 2 for the same reasons. The original cabin was built in 1952 and was added onto by several owners that followed. I bought the home and did a complete makeover that simply makes it the best vacation rental in Prescott. I have honored the sacred land and the heart of the original owner. The ceiling is the original roof.

Why Diana Tschirhart chose Prescott

I have built hundreds of homes in Arizona and have never found a setting as awesome as this! It is a sacred place without question.

What makes this house unique

Only 2.5 miles from the city square. There is ZERO traffic and complete privacy. The only sounds you will hear are the birds and crickets laughing at you as you run around naked.

A great vacation place away from the crowd.

  • 4 of 5

For five nights we used the house as our center as we did various sight-seeing drives on back roads. It was lovely to come home to each night. The house has a unique personality, especially with the pool table in the open floor plan. So it was great fun. And the kitchen was very functional.

The Yard, Views & Seclusion yet 2.3 miles from downtown.

  • 4 of 5

It was just GREAT!! The BBQ and outdoors area made our trip. The master mattress could do with an update but we enjoyed every inch of our rental, including the pool table & the babbling brook fountain, if you are an oak creek canyon lover- this is your place. We will be back if they will have us. Highly recommended.

Another perfect stay

  • 5 of 5

This was my family’s second time staying here and it was total perfection again. This property is my favorite place to stay in all of northern Arizona- it’s so cozy and magical with such a charming outdoor area and indulgent soaking tub. Will be visiting again soon!

Solitude With A View

  • 4 of 5

Peaceful and quiet, exactly as portrayed in the advertisement.

Very clean with all the trappings of home.

Conveniently located as the cabin is only minutes away from hiking trails and only minutes away from shopping/downtown.

Property Manager is super helpful.

Last short section of road to the cabin is unimproved but was no trouble for my sedan in temperate weather.
