Comfortable condo in quiet location
I like the location of the property, on a quiet and modest residential street only a few blocks from grocery shopping and with easy access to US Hwy 95, W. 16th St. It is a clean, comfortable, single-level living space with tastefully coordinated colors and décor. The front door enters into a living room with a settee, sofa and large-screen TV. Also at the front of the unit are a kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is separated from the living room. The dining table seats four and is within view of the living room. There are windows only at the front and back of the condo. The front windows receive the morning light, and I enjoyed the bright kitchen at breakfast. The kitchen is well-equipped with a four-burner electric range and oven, a full-size refrigerator with freezer and ice trays, coffeemaker, microwave, toaster, garbage disposal, and even a crockpot. I found everything I needed for cooking, including coffee filters that fit the coffeemaker (thank you!) Elsewhere in the condo a washer and dryer are also provided.
A full bath across the hall from a small bedroom with a twin bed are situated in the middle part of the unit. The roomy master bedroom is at the rear. A tiny ¾ bath is attached to the master bedroom. The sink is located just outside the bath in a corner of the bedroom. Hot water is prompt and plentiful. I found the queen-size bed to be quite comfortable. The bed clothes and towels are of excellent quality. The master bedroom is outfitted with a second television.
From the back door one can access a small, walled-in courtyard, but it is not landscaped. A gate leads to covered off-street parking at the rear.
Services function well at the unit, including a large selection of TV channels and consistent wi-fi. Likewise, all the appliances I used were in good working order. The unit has central air and heating, with an easily adjustable thermostat located in the central hallway. Because I visited in winter, I made use of the heating at night. I was always comfortable but found the interior temperatures slightly warmer in the front of the unit as compared to the back.
I noted a few minor issues, for example, sliding closet doors that need repair, but in general the condo is well-kept and in fine condition. The owners were very helpful and provided info about local deli items and a locally owned bakery cafe nearby.
I enjoyed my stay at this property and recommend it to others.
Thank you...we were glad to have you stay with us!
AC went out briefly but owner made immediate repair and was very accommodating.
Glad to have your group stay with us and hope to maybe see you again one day.
Great place clean and well equip with everything you need
Everything you need is there. we enjoyed our two weeks . Great location
Easy to get to places.
Very well kept well stocked condo
Great little 2 bedroom 2 bath condo. Stayed a week and had all we needed there. Location is close to great shopping and plenty of restaurants.
Thank you. We were happy to have you stay with us. Hope to see you again.
Very nice place to stay. Very accommodating.
Easy to get to and close to shopping for whatever we needed. Nice furnishings.
Took us a while to get our bearings but then it was great. The presentation of the home was lovely. Had everything we could possibly need and lots of space. Nice and close to things we wanted to do including a trip to Algadones, MX, a date farm and Castle Dome City. Even saw an air show by the Marines and went to L.A. to see the Dr Phil show. Only a part of what we did. Did our eating at local restaurants. Everyone we came in contact with were extremely nice and helpful. Having that pleasant little house was like coming home ! Clean, comfy and in a "local" area. Only thing I would change would be to have a screen door on the front door and the back yard a little more "welcoming" All in all...great deal if you want out of all the commotion of the city.
Yuma is known for its great winters and nearby recreational areas. Golf at one of the many golf courses in town or fish the Colorado. Go boating at Martinez Lake or take your four-wheel-drive out to the desert or sand dunes. Visit Historical Downtown Yuma which will be hosting several events this winter. Shop in nearby Mexico or try your luck at one of our three casinos. Whatever you decide to do, the weather will be great!
