Eileen Saucedo purchased this house in 2010
You will love this majestic home as it is near Disney and other great places in Orange County, Los Angeles, Hollywood. The home has everything just ask us!!!
Amazing place to relax as it sits on a private lot on a hillside where you can experience great views. Less than a mile away from restaurants, stores like Trader Joe's, Starbucks! You get the best value, location, and amenities.
House was clean and comfortable.Driveway a bit difficult & pots and pans could be updated Great place for money
We stayed at the house for 7 days with our 2 kids (8 and 11). Eileen was very helpful through the reservation process, always very responsive. The house was clean and ready for us for our late arrival. Location to key places: beaches, Los Angeles, Hollywood and Universal Studios was good. Grocery stores and other services are less than 2 miles away, very convenient. Our kids enjoyed the "sun room" where they played quite a bit. We would stay there again any time.
A very well sighted property with great views and local amenities. The property itself could do with a little tlc but 4 adults and 2 children didnt spend alot of time indoors so this didnt detract from a fab 3 weeks. Everytyhing you will need for a long stay is there but we did run out of gas for the BBQ and even with t his being reported wasnt replaced, a small negative. Many thanks from all the family for a fabulous holiday. Rod.
We stayed here for our family vacation this summer. This was home base and allowed us to go to several beaches, visit friends, and Disneyland. It is a cute little house with an amazing outside area. The owner was great to deal with and easy to contact. The house was clean and nicely decorated. We had everything we needed to stay.
A few bad and good things, I'll start off with the bad, so I can leave it on a good note. When we arrive it smelled. I thought it smelled like urine, but my brother was adamant that it was just a mildewy type smell because people don't live there full time and it just had to air out. I do think he was right about that, because the smell did get better with us in there and I even smelled the furniture and that wasn't the source of it.
I can't say I was fond of the floor (just concrete) but hey they have a sand room and it's easy clean up.
One of our bigger issue that made me give it a lower rating is that, they started to get ants in the kitchen, but that was probably because we were lazy with our food (I have kids). But on the last day/night we started to see cockroaches too. I'm from upstate NY and we don't have cockroaches unless someone's house is really dirty, however we travel a lot and in the South we know that cockroaches are everywhere, so it may just be normal for the location. That being said, I'm glad I didn't see any before the last night because we slept with the lights on and I tripled checked our luggage before we left. Oh and the shower drain isn't the best.
Okay so now that I have all the bad stuff out of the way, on to the good. It was a beautiful location! I LOVED going out every morning onto the hammock and just taking in the scenery. The house was pretty clean, and stocked well (minus enough toilet paper). I really appreciated that they had a washer and dryer. The beds were very comfortable too.
We spent the first half of our vacation there, and then we stayed at the super fancy hotel Lowe's in Santa Monica, for the second half of our trip, and we were much more comfortable here. It fit our big family, and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this location, but the cockroaches were kind of a big issue for me :/
Cute house with a fun style to it. The house was clean and well equipped for what we needed. Great views very easy check in and check out procedures. If you are looking for an affordable stay in the LA area I would recommend.
