Upscale Stylish Condo in The Aspens

Property Details

Updated: Jul 24, 2016
Condo, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, Sleeps 2

This cozy 'Western Contemporary' unit has been completely renovated with upscale finishes and furnishings. It is impeccably maintained and sits in the highly desirable Berrypatch location of The Aspens community. In this tranquil setting, traffic is minimal and the buildings are set in the midst of pine, aspen groves and willow lined meadows. Fish Creek winds its way in the backdrop and moose, deer, fox, ospery and bald eagles are frequently seen.

The Aspens community is centrally located to the multitude of attractions in Teton County. You are 7 miles from the town of Jackson, 3 miles from Jackson Hole Ski Resort and you are central to the gateways of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. The Aspens Retail complex provides you with convenient access to a gourmet grocery store and deli, a liquore store, a coffee shop, health club, a bank and Teton Pines Golf Course.

There is a shuttle bus system (SMART) that runs from Teton Village (Jackson Hole Ski Resort) to the town of Jackson and many spots in between, which includes a stop at The Aspens. You can avoid the hassle of driving if you so choose. There are miles and miles of bike paths that meander through Teton County and the Westbank path intersects at the Aspens.

About the Owner

After many years of visiting dear friends in Jackson Hole and soaking up some of the best things life has to offer, I began looking for a place to call my home away from home. Having thoroughly searched various condos and townhomes, I found this one which offered everything I wanted. The recent and total remodel makes the space so cozy. The proximity to Jackson, Teton Village/Jackson Hole, Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, bike paths, SMART bus service, mountain biking, hiking, the Aspens Retail Complex, etc., allows for the perfect location.

Absolutely Fabulous Condo

  • 5 of 5

Let me start by saying the owner, Jacki, is hands down THE best host you will ever find! She has thought of every single detail you can imagine and was a pleasure to work with. I can't rave enough of all the details. The slippers in the entrance, the slippers in the bathroom, the entrance bench, the blankets by the sofa, the stringed attached instructions around the apartment (bbq), all of the kitchen amenities (including blender) soon as we thought of what we needed, it was there, already prepared...she has thought of it all. Also, the unit is in a very quiet complex with easy access to Moose-Wilson Road, just a few minutes from GNP. There is a friendly neighborhood moose (just as Jacki had mentioned) which we enjoyed watching strolling around in the afternoons. The unit was impeccably clean, very cozy, and we felt right at home. We were able to make our meals and enjoyed the available bbq grill. There is also a small grocery in the complex which is a convenient plus.

This place by far exceeded all our expectations! Wish all hosts were as kind and thoughtful!

Mother Daughter Trip

  • 5 of 5

I have never been disappointed in properties I have booked through VRBO & this condo in the Jackson area was one of the very best. The owner was incredibly helpful with directions & details. It is in a great location for exploring the area and the area is beautiful as well. The condo itself is exactly as advertised, very comfortable & beautifully decorated. The kitchen was furnished with everything that you would need to fix any type of meal. The bed was very comfortable with a great mattress. All of the little details really stand out, the slippers in the laundry room, the bath salts for a relaxing bath, the blankets on the chair & couch for use when it gets chilly, etc. I could go on but there are so many to list! Can't recommend this condo enough & we appreciate all of the help Jacki gave us and her quick response time to all communications.

Grand Teton trip

  • 5 of 5

I spent a week climbing in Teton National Park, and didnt want to camp out and started looking for other options. This place was just perfect. Just far enough out of jackson to make it easy to get to for dining, shopping etc. and avoiding the congestion. And super close and easy to get to Teton or Yellowstone. The owner (Jacki) was super helpful and quick to respond to any questions. From booking to arrival they have everything you could ever ask or possibly need in a step by step binder, and i love that. You dont often sttop to think about how to turn on your surround sound or dishwasher. The place was immaculate top to bottom. The kitchen was full of high end appliances and cookware and some staples for cooking, clean grill on the patio. Great place, great time, cant go wrong staying here. My only reservation is posting this, I'm worried about not being able to book it next time I am out that way....

Extraordinary Vacation Rental

  • 5 of 5

I am not sure there is enough room to say all of the good things we would like about this vacation rental. Even before you get inside, the thought the owners put into the details is evident. There is a small flashlight next to the lockbox if you happen arrive at night. The entry door is nicer than the neighboring units giving the feeling you are entering a special place. Once inside, we felt instantly at ease. The warm colors and upscale finishes were that of a luxury condominium. It was clean and fresh. The slate tiled foyer had a small bench, boot tray and brushed metal coat hooks gave us a convenient place to keep our outerwear and bundle up before heading out. The open plan of the kitchen, dining and living areas made the space seem larger than it was. It was stocked with all the pots, pans and utensils we could ever need. There was also some cooking staples provided - flour, sugar, oil and spices. While the unit had modern electronics and connectivity, we found ourselves mostly enjoying the wood burning fire and great views in our downtime. The bedroom was cozy with a comfortable mattress and ample closet and drawer space. The bathroom was spotless with nice tile work, contemporary vessel sink and nice vanity. The washer/dryer was a great help to us since we had to pack light with the airline baggage restrictions. Jacki provided great communication and payment was easy through her secure third-party website. I would highly recommend staying here! As for the other parts of our trip, we enjoyed skiing at Jackson Hole but our best day was at Grand Targhee. It is a bit of a drive but worth it if you have the chance. We rented a vehicle so I can’t say how the shuttle system flows. They charge for parking at Jackson Hole ($5/day at the Ranch lot; $20/day at the others) so it does add to the expense. It was worth it to us for the convenience. We ate at the Coulior Restaurant. It was a great experience but very expensive. Our other meal out was to the Snake River Brewery. It was much more reasonable and gave you a much better feel of the character of Jackson. We happened to hit their 20th anniversary night ($3 beers) so it was packed with locals. I am not sure how it is at other times but it was a fun night with good food and great beer. Jacki provided several other recommendations but after splurging at the Coulior, we decided to prepare other meals at home. Our only other activities besides skiing was a visit the National Elk Refuge and nice scenic drive.

We will be back!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I started off our honeymoon in stunning Jackson Hole. We arrived late at night, during a blizzard and breathed a sigh of relief when we walked into this fantastic condo. It's incredibly cosy, quiet, and very close to Jackson Hole...a 5 minute drive or you can hop on the local bus.

The condo is clean, well thought of amenities; I loved the slippers! The hosts are incredibly helpful and wonderful, with fantastic customer service. We will definitely be back again to stay here and will recommend it to all our ski bunny friends.

Elderberry condo

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful experience to spend 9 nights in this beautiful condo where everything worked perfectly and everything we could ever want was provided, including daily visits from the family of moose! The condo is fresh and clean to come back to after a day in the outdoors. Jackie s a pleasure to work with and goes out of her way to accommodate her guests. The pictures are accurate and you cannot go wrong staying here.

The Aspens Market and the Elevated Grounds Coffee Shop at the entrance to the area were perfect and convenient for our needs, and we drove up Moose-Wison Rd every day to the park, seeing wildlife such as bear, moose, mule deer regularly along the way . Also there is good fishing in the Snake River nearby.
