Peaceful, clean, cute cabin
Very peaceful setting. Kim was wonderful to work with. Cabin was cute, clean and had everything we needed.
Cute vintage cabin
Classic vintage lake cabin; very clean, quiet, comfortably-decorated and equipped, updated bathroom. Very nice, responsive owner. Paddle boat and kayaks fun for the kids. Would have been perfect if not for the horrific black flies. Quick trip into Mackinac City & the Island.
Convenient, cute cottage
Kim is a great host and was very responsive to all of our questions. This cottage is nestled right off of Carp Lake and has the distinct advantage of being close to Mackinaw City as well as convenient to catch the ferry for Mackinac Island. The cabin itself is rustic and the only thing we were surprised by was the lack of privacy. Specifically, the walls between the two bedrooms are not enclosed. This can be fun and adventurous, but also surprising if you are not expecting to feel like you are sharing a bedroom! Overall - fun place!
Quiet, relaxing and peaceful. We received a wonderful welcome from Jim and Kim.
Our family really enjoyed our mini weekend vacation staying in this cozy lake cottage. Loved the peace and quiet location and yet it wasn’t far to the places we wanted to visit.

Clean, Cozy on a big quiet lake!
Kim was very helpful in finding the perfect beach, and answered any question we had. Plus she had discount ferry tickets available. The cabin was cute and cozy just right for me and my daughter. I would stay again.
Beautiful little cabin on the lake!
Kim was so hospitable, and her place was the perfect little getaway to celebrate our anniversary! We loved how quiet and serene the lake was, and it was a huge bonus to be able to use the kayaks. :) The cabin was also only about 10 minutes from Mackinaw City. We will definitely return!!
Beautiful Great Lake beaches nearby. Close to Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island, Dark Sky Park, Upper Peninsula, Casinos, Golfing, Hiking, Biking, Zip Lines, Shopping, and free breathtaking views at every turn.
