Fabulous location and spectacular house for a girls weekend!

  • 5 of 5

This house was in the perfect location and the house itself was above and beyond our expectations. The outdoor area is nothing short of spectacular! We were there for a 1/2 Marathon/girls weekend and the pool/hot tub combo was the perfect recovery for our legs after the race. Lots of seating, indoors and out, for dining. Could use a little more seating in the living room. If we are in the Temecula area again we will definitely rent this house. Close to the wineries, Old Town and shopping. However, we spent the majority of our time at the house by the pool since we ran through a large selection of wineries and, surprisingly, we weren't there to shop. Perfect house for lots R&R.

The property is beautiful!

Quiet and a great view.

It would have been nice to be able to pay extra to heat the pool.

Thanks for everything

Owner's Response: We are so glad you had a wonderful stay and thought the home and location were beautiful. During the winter especially we certainly understand the need for a heated pool, unfortunalty pool heating is not available. The jaccuzzi however is operational and heated.

Fantastic stay - Thank you!

  • 5 of 5

Thank you for a wonderful stay. We came all the way from Norway, and stayed for four weeks. We enjoyed every single day, and the house and the surroundings were perfect. The house is located outside Temecula, however it was just a 7-8 min drive to Old Town, restaurants, shops and groceries.

Temecula is a small and intim city, witch had basically everything that we needed. Temecula is also close to pretty much everything in Southern California. We have been visiting Mexico, San Diego (Seaworld, Downtown, Gas lamp district, Seaport Village), LA (Santa Monica, Six Flags, Universal, Hollywood), Las Vegas, 4th of July celebration in The President Reagen sportspark in Temecula, Baseball game at Lake Elsinore, hiking and much much more.

We also got the chance to see both coyotes and a rattle snake when hiking, as there are wildlife in the area. Scary, but fun!

The house was nice and clean, and had everything we needed, both inside and outside. A lot of room and space for our family of six. Also a nice outside area with a pool and jaccuzi'

Thanks again!

An Amazing Home!!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I just had the most wonderful experience in your house. It truly felt like a home. It was so nice to have such a wonderful kitchen to cook for my family. It seemed to have everything I needed. The kids loved swimming in the pool. We all loved that it was so close to Old Town. it made excursions easy. What a sweet little town. we look forward to returning again!

A nice stay BUT

  • 3 of 5

We went as a family, to fish, enjoy time together and specifically to watch the football games on Sunday. Well were we surprised when not even Netflix worked! The only thing the TV does is play DVD's. That is really outrageous in this day of WIFI and Internet. This information should be front and center in the description of the house. The fact that our cell phones did not work on-site, was not an issue, but the non-functioning TV was a huge issue. That fact needs to be loud and clear not hidden in the fine print. The kitchen is NOT well equiped. The pots and pans are very small and very old, there is NO oven equipment, no bakeware not even a cookie sheet. The ice maker did not work very well so we had to buy our own ice. If you come to the house in the dark, be prepared to drive up and down the street many times. The address sign is TINY and it is NOT the "first" house on the street as the directions say. The fifth bedroom downstairs next to the Master is really an office with a bed in it and the the tiny bathroom for the bedroom is the one used by everyone in the house when they are downstairs so it is not private. I own a VRBO house in another location and I find that specific information and exact definitions of the bedrooms et. al. is really necessary to make renters happy. All in all it is a nice house, but we will look for another one in the area next time.

Owner's Response: We are saddened to hear that your vacation was not spectacular and had we known you needed additional amenities in the kitchen would have gladly brought them to you. The person who rented the home was informed when we spoke prior to renting that we had a dvd player on site only (as is marked on the website as well)and that some cell phones do not receive service in the area while others do (thus everyone has access to an onsite phone). We try to communicate that as best we can and she even joked that the time away might be nice as I spoke with her in person prior to booking. We even made exceptions whenever requests where made by the family on several occasions. We always strive to provide a 5 star experience and will continue to make changes to address the concerns.

Activity and Interests

The home is only 5 mintues to Old Town Temecula and also only 5 mintues to the new industrial craft beer brewing section of Temecula. Cross Creek Golf Course is only 5 minutes or less away! We are only 12 minutes to the Rancho California Wine Trail and local wine tasting. Pachanga casino is about 15 minutes from the home. Legoland and Sea World are an easy one hour drive from the home. Disneyland is about one hour and 15 mintues from the home. There is also a wonderful saturday morning farmers market in Old Town Temecula as well as a variety of fun shops and restuarants.
