Brought to you by Gertrude Rentals! It was named for my father who was a ships captain and sailed the world for 30 years but always insisted Siesta Keys beaches were most beautiful. Tastefully decorated with vaulted ceilings, multi-colored balusters and Indo-Spanish charm. Perfectly appointed with high thread-count 100% cotton sheets and W-Hotel pillow-top mattresses. Casa Van Lopik is the ideal blend of island ease and comforting luxury. Leave the car behind. After the beach, you could wander to town for fresh oysters and seafood, drinks, live music or ice cream. You can also get fresh fish at the Village Market one block away or catch your own right in front of the house. The kitchen is fully equipped and has an open floor plan from dining area to balcony. The back garden has space for casual dining and is westerly facing for sunset. Located at: 360 Canal Rd. Siesta Key.

*Events or gatherings involving outside vendors or a headcount in excess of the combined occupancy rate are allowed with prior owner approval. A Location Event Fee of $2000 applies. Gertrude Rentals was named for the owner-operator’s (Daniel) grandmother. Gertrude Van-Lopik was an adventurous traveler well into her 90s who circumnavigating the globe more than two dozen times. The house is lovely, great location!!

We celebrated my parent's 50 anniversary in Siesta Key. Deciding to stay at Casa Van Lopik was a great decision. Daniel was so helpful with providing information with where to eat and what to do. He was quick to reply to my emails and answered all my questions. Upon arriving at the house there was wine and crackers waiting for us. The house itself was spotless, kudos to the cleaning crew. The house has everything you could possible need. Plenty of towels to be used in and out. The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of closets. The kitchen is well equipped. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have a working beach umbrella, but even that it was not a big deal. There was a vendor not far from the house who sold us one for $14. Plenty of parking space that fits 3 cars. We parked our cars and never used them again till it was time to leave. Everything is in walking distance. Once you leave the house you make a right and head straight to the beach access number 7. The beach is beyond words. I have been to many different beaches around the world and Siesta Key by far has the best beach, love the water and sand!!! If you make a left out of the house and follow the road you reach Siesta Village. Great little town with many wonderful restaurants, especially the Lobster Pot, which serves Portuguese food!! In all wonderful house, amazing location and great host. You will not regret your stay here. Looking forward to returning in the near future.

Lovely

Brought 3 children along with my spouse and this house did not disappoint. Spacious, clean, modern, and located close to everything you wanted. Would recommend it to anyone. My daughter begged to stay longer.

Comfort and location

We had a great stay! Daniel obviously has a lot of experience with all sorts of people and maintains a sense of humor equal to his professionalism. The apartment is spacious and tastefully decorated. We loved sitting on the balcony. When visiting Siesta Key, it would be possible to enjoy one's entire vacation without ever getting back into the car. We found everything within a short walking distance from the property, yet Canal St. remained peaceful and quiet, so nothing disturbed our relaxation.

Excellent!!

We had a wonderful time in siesta key. The beaches and village are in walking distance of the property, no car needed. The beach and sand are pristine ! The house was perfect to accommodate 2 families with small children. Daniel is a very easy to work with and always available with questions or concerns. We can't wait to return !

Perfect Get-Away

Our stay was perfect. The house was beautifully decorated and supplied all of the appliances that we needed. The house was also conveniently located by the beach (5 min walk) and the "downtown" area (5 min walk). To be honest, the best thing was that there was no "check-out" clean up needed. When you're trying to get out of the door, it's so nice to not have to worry about stripping the beds, doing laundry and taking out the trash. I felt like the management company really got that! They truly wanted to make my experience as relaxing and stress free as possible. Awesome!

Was perfect for a ladies weekend. we felt at home!

We felt right at home upon arrival an the duration of our stay. Was just a short walk to Siesta key village the beach was a bit further. Fit us all so comfortably would defiantly come stay again!!!! Kitchen isn't fully stocked FYI
