March 8, 2017 Ron and Debbie said "Deborah was very responsive to all our communications and gave us lots of info about the area. The location on the water was a wild life bonanza."

Nov 2016 Bob said "I spent Thanksgiving week at the 3 bed/2 bath house with my children. We had a very memorable experience there! The house was very clean, sufficiently stocked once we looked a little better. We caught a few redfish from the dock and enjoyed evenings on the upper deck with wine and stories. Truly a great place and well worth the money."

August 2016 Chip and his wife said "Deborah was an excellent host. The property is located conveniently to Clearwater Beach, Dunedin, and Tarpon Springs. The area was safe and pretty." (full review on another website)

July 2016 Forrest said "Hi Debbie, I just wanted to let you know that we loved our stay at the house and we had a fantastic time! Thank you so much!"

April 2016 Kathy said "At 70 years old my friend got me into a kayak from the dock and we went to Caladesi Beach State Park, not just once, we did it everyday. It is fun to watch the dolphins from the patio and deck but amazing to be in a kayak and see the dolphins close by. Thank You"

May 2016 Greg and Family said "We stayed in Natures Paradise the first time, naming the Pelicans who visit the dock and swoop into the water. The 3 bedroom was available for our 2nd stay and we have booked it again for November."

Worn out!

  • 1 of 5

Although location is good for restaurants and spring training ball games, we would not recommend staying here. One star rating is generous. Property is in major need of updating. Some pictures shown are not recent. Boats at dock and deck for example. The deck and railing is shaky. Deck furniture is not usable.

Owner's Response: For the 3rd time in 18 months all upper deck furniture has now been replaced again; constant sun and salt air degrades materials rapidly. Travelers can moor their boat or boat rental in the boat slips at the dock as the doctor & lawyer who owned the large boats and house are no longer there of course. Boats in Florida are undercoated to deter barnacles but if your boat is not undercoated we can guide you to protect your boat while still enjoying the wonderful Gulf of Mexico waters during your stay. Damages to the deck have been repaired. All repairs are done as soon as we are advised. The Property Management Team arrived within 2 hours of the email from these travelers and Home Warranty Insurance sent an appliance technician within a few business hours; the technician reported the fridge and freezer doors had been left open consistently by these travelers causing frost build up in the automatic defrost equipment. When planning your vacation it is important to ensure everyone agrees this is the right selection for all, not just a few in the party. Everyone deserves to be happy.

412 Venetian Drive, Clearwater, Flordia

  • 4 of 5

The location of the property is excellent! It is just south of the beautiful town of Dunedin and right on a waterway. 412 has plenty of space with 3 bedrooms and two baths. The owner was excellent to work with. Due to an unexpected family emergency, we had to change our dates several times and Deb always worked with us.

Owner's Response: We welcome Jane and her family back, they were easy to communicate with, took excellent care of our home and followed the simple house rules. From time to time families do face emergencies with there parents or children so we work with them during that difficult time. Open and honest communication makes it easy and less stressful for us and especially for the travelers who may be facing unknowns with their family member and/or situations they have never experienced before, as was the case with Jane.

Fun, Relaxing, Safe

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for the whole month of November, as we do each year. We found everything as the owner said, and more. Just gazing to the Gulf of Mexico is relaxing. The renovations and complete painting of exterior and interior is calming and inviting in this Florida style property. Dolphins came close to the dock often. Seeing a mother dolphin and young dolphin in their natural habitat is a wonder. Listen for the big splash dolphins make. Manatee enter the basin quietly so you have to look for them near the mangrove. We have a boat and kayaks. Even in the kayaks we could reach the beach islands just west of the home in minutes and it did not take long to get to Caladesi Beach State Park. We boat to Clearwater Beach and Dunedin restaurants and out into the Gulf of Mexico. Cycling and walking in the neighborhood and along Edgewater is great and the Pinellas Trail access is just two blocks away. We recommend a visit to the Clearwater Marine Rescue Aquarium where you will see Winter and the other marine life. This home is well equipped with gold rimmed china, cooking utensils, electronics, linens and towels in 3 linen closets. Our grandchildren visited again as they do each year we stay here and with a ladder at the end of the dock they swim in the salt water at high tide. It is a safe family area.

Read this BEFORE you give your money for I have LOST all of mine!!

  • 1 of 5

After speaking with the owner of this property several times, it sounded perfect so I deposited cash into her account AS SHE REQUIRED at the time! However upon arrival I was extremely upset with the true condition of the unit. Upon entering the unit there was a strong foul odor throughout the unit. It was in bad condition and not furnished as represented. Many lights and 2 tv's didn't work and one of the light switches in a BR controlled the adjacent BR electricity only! The washer/dryer were in the garage (outside of unit in lower level and not represented as such) & had door lock problems. Two screens sliders were not working and one should have been replaced entirely. The mattresses were old and not conducive for a good nights sleep. My biggest problems were what was represented to me on the boating situation. I am a boater and was EMPHATICALLY told that there was adequate deep water & power at the dock for my 34' boat The first morning and each morning we stayed, it was low tide and there was NO WATER at the dock nor 10' out! The only power was a long extension cord stretched from the end of the dock to the house which didn't work and was never fixed. There was no lighting on the dock. The electric to the outside lights/tv cable had been cut. When I spoke with the owner she gave me information on tide swings via NOAA and suggested I don't understand them. I have been a boater for 50yrs & KNOW ABOUT OCEAN TIDES!! I was also told there was room for my truck & 3 axle trailer but there was only a 29' U shaped area to manuver a 26' trailer with a 2500 truck. NO WAY!!! The point here is that she DID NOT disclose these FACTS thereby MISREPRESENTING the unit. Had I been informed the truth I NEVER would have rented it. As far as the great view, the bay is very small and subject to trash washing into the corner where the unit is located. The bottom is complete mud and swimming is NOT practical at LOW OR HIGH tide. The view & landscaping is mediocre at best with a cheaper motel along the right side of the corner of the bay. Because of the misrepresentations I advised the owner that I would be vacating the premises and did so after 7 days of trying to locate an available unit. She has refused to return the prepaid rent or the Damage Deposit and does not answer communication's. I STRONGLY advise that if you are considering renting this property REGARDLESS OF OTHER REVIEWS have someone look at it for you. I am a business owner and landscaper so my review is objective

Owner's Response: This couple stayed for 2 weeks in December without mentioning an odor in the home, nor did the 2 contractors who met with them 8 hours after the late night arrival & resolved all concerns, showing him how to operate dual light switches, the motion detector lights, dock patio lights & explaining the electricians' decisions & city safety By Laws. However, this couple left cat feces and cat litter for the cleaning service to pick up then sterilize interior after they disappeared late at night. Swimming is best at the award winning beaches, beach islands & off the salt water dock. Ed paid by business check per online banking photo of check deposited from Legendary Enterprises with his home address on the check. Larger trailers than his have been backed into the driveway, by women. The city boat launch is ½ mile south. Neighbors offered him a wide driveway to park the trailer & use of a boat lift, all free. The Gulf of Mexico has 4 tides per day, 2 high & 2 low, not an equal 6 hours apart, tides vary from day to day & one high tide being higher than the next high tide per NOAA Tide Table pdf given to each. Because not all of the keys were returned, all dead bolt locks were changed at the end of the lease to protect the rest of the 14k gold rimmed china, electronics etc. Interior furnishings are exactly as the November realtor photos online; chairs on the outdoor deck were replaced for comfort. There are no motels on Venetian Yacht Basin. Their application did not include adding 8 people to this 3 bed home. They have been advised a check has been issued & mailed per the lease agreement. We wish this couple all the best.

Peaceful and Safe for a Lady Alone

  • 5 of 5

It is so relaxing to listen and wait for the dolphins to come into the basin. The deck, patio and home have a beautiful view looking north to the Gulf of Mexico. Sunsets are an event each day. This is a great home to entertain. I rent a boat each time I visit; it is great to just hop into the boat and go...no fuss, no work. The little islands with beaches nearby are like having my own island. Walking along Edgewater is so pretty. And wonderful cycling streets and Pinellas Trail. This home is well equipped and a whole lot better than staying in a hotel. Jane

Fantastic boating, great 3 bedroom home

  • 5 of 5

So nice to have my boat at the dock. Great fishing in the Gulf of Mexico waters. Fantastic views when I'm not on my boat. So relaxing to get away from my law practice. Family enjoyed this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. We return every year.
