Cozy place

Perfect for two people. Love being right on the lake the only draw back as the tiny shower but the place was perfect

Relaxing Weekend on the Water

  • 5 of 5

I spent 3 days and 3 nights at the Lakeshore Winery Cottage and it was a perfect weekend getaway. The winery owners, Annie and John, were incredibly friendly. They were available just across the street if I needed anything but other than that left me to enjoy the cottage and lake. The cottage was clean and organized and perfect for a solo stay, but would be great for a couple or small group of friends. The view out of the lake facing windows is beautiful and the perfect way to wake up each morning. I enjoyed reading on the small porch off the cottage and the big spacious dock with picnic table is great for eating meals and lounging. Though it wasn't warm enough for swimming yet when I went, I would love to go back to take advantage of the beach area and kayaks/paddleboat. Overall, I was thoroughly happy with my stay and would definitely recommend it for folks interested in taking advantage of the wineries or just wanting a quiet place to get away.

Amazing!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent the week at the cottage for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect! The location was in the heart of the Cayuga wine trail yet still secluded enough for a quiet get away. Annie was very accommodating and we really enjoyed our complimentary tasting at Lakeshore and use of the kayaks and row boat! The cottage is nicely equipped to grill and cook in as well. Waking up to seeing the sunrise over the lake and hearing the wakes hit the shore right from bed was beautiful! Highly recommended, we will definately be back!

Perfect cabin on the lake

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at week at this cottage directly on Cayuga lake. It was perfect for my husband and I and our dog. We fished everyday, grilled almost every night and ate at the table on the huge dock. We caught lots of fish! We sat outside every night and lit a fire. you can see so many stars. We watched the sunrise above the lake in the morning. We enjoyed it here so much we want to make this an annual trip for sure. Thank you Annie for your hospitality!

Amazing weekend getaway!

  • 5 of 5

My fiancé and I (along with our dog) wanted to go on a spontaneous road trip and the Lakeshore Winery Cottage was the perfect place! Annie met us there when we arrived and was extremely helpful about showing us around and answering any questions. Then, even though the winery wasn't open, Annie allowed us to taste a few wines and we bought the semi-dry reisling, which was such a great way to start the weekend!

The cottage is in a great location right by all the wineries and there are so many we couldn't even visit them all. It is right on Cayuga lake and accurately represents the pictures. There is a great spot to build a bonfire outside, and the inside fire place made our stay extremely cozy. There are grocery stores near by and the house was equipped with everything we needed to cook our meals. We also explored some of the state parks where we went on beautiful, scenic hikes. It was definitely a relaxing weekend and we can't wait to return!

A great spot to relax!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin very much! It is a peaceful and private setting that is great for kids. The beach is flat and can be easily viewed from the cabin. The cabin is small but very comfortable. Annie was a great host- we will be recommending this cabin to friends.
