My husband and I spent the week at the cottage for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect! The location was in the heart of the Cayuga wine trail yet still secluded enough for a quiet get away. Annie was very accommodating and we really enjoyed our complimentary tasting at Lakeshore and use of the kayaks and row boat! The cottage is nicely equipped to grill and cook in as well. Waking up to seeing the sunrise over the lake and hearing the wakes hit the shore right from bed was beautiful! Highly recommended, we will definately be back!

Perfect cabin on the lake

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at week at this cottage directly on Cayuga lake. It was perfect for my husband and I and our dog. We fished everyday, grilled almost every night and ate at the table on the huge dock. We caught lots of fish! We sat outside every night and lit a fire. you can see so many stars. We watched the sunrise above the lake in the morning. We enjoyed it here so much we want to make this an annual trip for sure. Thank you Annie for your hospitality!

Amazing weekend getaway!

  • 5 of 5

My fiancé and I (along with our dog) wanted to go on a spontaneous road trip and the Lakeshore Winery Cottage was the perfect place! Annie met us there when we arrived and was extremely helpful about showing us around and answering any questions. Then, even though the winery wasn't open, Annie allowed us to taste a few wines and we bought the semi-dry reisling, which was such a great way to start the weekend!

The cottage is in a great location right by all the wineries and there are so many we couldn't even visit them all. It is right on Cayuga lake and accurately represents the pictures. There is a great spot to build a bonfire outside, and the inside fire place made our stay extremely cozy. There are grocery stores near by and the house was equipped with everything we needed to cook our meals. We also explored some of the state parks where we went on beautiful, scenic hikes. It was definitely a relaxing weekend and we can't wait to return!

A great spot to relax!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin very much! It is a peaceful and private setting that is great for kids. The beach is flat and can be easily viewed from the cabin. The cabin is small but very comfortable. Annie was a great host- we will be recommending this cabin to friends.

cozy and private!

  • 4 of 5

Hubby and I and our dog stayed in this cottage for a week. It was absolutely perfect! It came with an incredible size dock which we fished off every morning and each night. The sunrises were amazing! The lake is prestine and so clean. The cottage was in a great location we hiked all the state parks, visited four other lakes by day and winery hopped. We also took out the kayaks that it came with. We had fun camp fires next to the lake each night and grilled on the barbecue. The owners of the winery were so nice they even took us out for a boat ride. It was for us, the perfect vacation! I gave it a four rating only because this was a cottage with no daily house keeping service which we did not expect anyway, and we did bring our own towels and linens and that was what we preferred. I view a five star as a luxury hotel with food service.
