The property is amazing. All the reviews were correct, great views of sunsets and sunrises. Lots of space, comfortable furniture. The owner called before we arrived to see if we had any questions. Thats the first time I ever had the owner call which just really impressed me with the attention to detail and making sure if we had any questions that we could contact them. Just a really great place and great owners! Hope to stay there again next year!!
Our time at Dawn and Paul's home was outstanding. We arrived to find their home immaculate and well appointed. All you truly need is your personal items, and food & beverages. Add to this all of their special touches!! They have truly thought of everything. Then there is the view and so many outdoor spaces to enjoy it. Bad weather was anticipated our first night there, and Dawn called to give us an update. We were lucky to see deer daily and even some coyotes on the golf course. The house has plenty of space and is close to everything. We went to the area to visit some of the wineries, and had our pick.
Thanks for making us feel so welcome, and for sharing your wonderful home with us. For those looking for an amazing place to unwind and enjoy the mountain spirit, you will not be disappointed with this home!! We hope to return soon...The Beasley's and The Wilson's
This was a fabulous experience. You can see and feel the thought & care that has gone into every aspect of the house to make the traveler feel at home and welcome. It was beautiful, immaculate, & well-equipped. We stayed there with friends, and there was just the right amount of together space and private space for all. The views are absolutely breath-taking. While I have never met the owners, I can't help but feel that the charm & grace of the home is a reflection on them. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a beautiful, peaceful refuge in the North Carolina mountains. We hated to leave. I'm not sure what I will miss more - having coffee on the deck in the mornings looking at the mist and the light changing as the sun comes up or enjoying a glass of wine on the deck while watching the stunning sunset in the evenings. I understand why people who have the pleasure of staying here return to this home & hope that we have that opportunity, too.
Our stay was all we imagined! Beautiful sight and home. I will rent from them again!!
Could not have been better!
I wish I could give our hosts and this property way more stars! To say it was amazing is an understatement. The location of the house is superb - with a back deck looking out at the mountains. We saw some incredible sunsets. It was so serene out there. It was so perfect for a mom's getaway for us 5 ladies. Dawn was super responsive and friendly. No issues whatsoever. Hosts supply literally EVERYTHING you could need except your personal belongings and food/beverages, so packing is so easy! They even have shampoo and other toiletries in case you forget anything. Every detail has been well thought out. The house comfortably fit all 5 of us and the layout is wonderful. We loved the deck in the mornings and the evenings. The screen porch is adorable. We spent both nights by the fire pit in the comfy adirondack chairs. We hiked at Stone Mountain Park (BTW when they say part of the SM loops is "strenuous" they're not kidding. But so worth the views and so close to the house!) We didn't venture out to any wineries or in to any towns because we just enjoyed being at the house (plus brought enough food to last for at least a week!) Everything was very clean. Plenty of kitchen supplies. I just can't say enough! I would go back in a heart beat and in fact, I'm already trying to figure out when I can go back with my family because I want them to be able to experience it as well. Thank you so much Dawn!
Great location and view
Excellent location from which to explore Stone Mountain. The views and outdoor spaces are fantastic.
