Reconnect with nature and your family

  • 5 of 5

This location is absolutely perfect for a romantic or family getaway! The cabin is simplistically perfect and cozy. Suren has kindly provided chairs, a fire ring, a charcoal grill, for external comforts a shore. There is plenty of fire wood to be found on the ground. Please remember transportation of firewood can potentially transport invasive species so pick-up your firewood locally. Take a tour of the small lake in a row boat or canoe to find your perfect fishing place since both are available for your use. A TV and VCR are also on the premise if you need a family movie night. Awake each day and watch the sun rise and the fog lift off the small lake from the comfort of the front bedroom or the screened/glass enclosed porch. The perfect place to center with daily meditation. I wish I could post a picture because what we experienced was truly breathtaking. We caught a glimpse of a blue heron, kingfisher, a grouse, a big mouth bass that got away, and a small turkey family foraging for food. Since you are tucked and nestled in the hemlocks you barely here I-87 traffic pass. To us, it was just enough to validate the needed to escape and rejuvenate. My husband and I were both able to connect to the cell towers....(he has a Samsung and I an iPhone with Verizon) when we wanted to, but found much happiness when we turned our cell phones off. Suren thank you for providing us with the perfect place to remind us of the importance of staying connected with nature and each other. Sending happiness and peace, Namaste!

Privacy and Relaxation

  • 5 of 5

My first time renting a cabin, we had a camper for a number of years. As advertised, it's private. Not a human soul around to complain about how late you stay up, how loud your music is, or cars coming in and out like a typical state camp site. I-87 is just up the hill so you hear all the big rigs driving by constantly, but it was no irritation to us. Fishing was amazing, once you figure out what species you are fishing for.(It's mostly bass and lures work better than worms...You might catch a rare perch or pumpkin seed, even a snapping turtle, but didn't catch one bullhead and we really tried.) The cabin was beautiful. Everything you need is provided. Toilet, running water, heat (if needed), TV-DVD's only, kitchen with supplies, apparently there is a new Frankentree(cell tower) close because we had full service, it was clean and relaxing. I brought my own firewood for campfires, but if you had a small bow saw the woods have plenty of down trees to rummage through. The outdoor cooking is a charcoal grill (provided by owner) The owner also provided outdoor chairs, however I still wanted to use my outdoor recliner. With all that said, I would grade it an A. One of the best trips to the woods in a long time. Suren, thanks for the amazing vacation.

Worth every penny!

This property was exactly what my girlfriend and I were looking for. First off, it was ideal for our two dogs who loved the woods and water. Second, this property is located in a very seculed area with a private pond (which happened to be the size of a small lake) which was a must for us. The house was very clean and attractive looking. I'm almost positive it was remodeled recently and everything worked great. My father and family friends stopped by for a couple of days and they were very impressed as well. Suren is a very friendly guy who knows how to accommodate his customers, I will without a doubt rent this property again.
