We loved staying here. David and Carolyn were amazing hosts. The location is steps away from the beach. We really liked that the property provided a huge selection of beach toys and accessories. You will love this home and all its amenities.
Great location and wonderful place for a family vacation.
Excellent location. Excellent price. Check-in process was very easy. Will recommend to everyone.
San Diego with the family!
We enjoyed our stay in Mission Beach house; however, there were some glitches!! Check in was fumbled with a doorknob being locked that prevented us from accessing the keypad. It took an hour before we were able to get in, but the owner did seem to try to rectify the issue and was apologetic. The house is reportedly treated for insects monthly but we did have some big bugs...the kind you don’t want to see. The front room floor is just an old dirty thin textile rug that’s been taped down...and it is dirty! We couldn’t go barefoot even after vacuuming.
Wait! There’s positive! Location, location, location!! We loved being able to access the beach without getting in the car! Walkable to restaurants and beach shopping. The bedrooms were sufficient. It is an older home. Bathrooms are tiny but were fine. The overall space was good and we had 7 adults, 1 child and 1 baby.
Something that wasn’t the owners fault but was an issue...the next door neighbor (very close!) had 3 dogs that would use the bathroom outside. Though they would clean it up at the end of the day, mostly the smell kept us from using the patio. And don’t even mention how bad it caused flies!!
Would we rent this property again? No. But the price was lower than most close properties and provided us with a more affordable way to have our first San Diego experience.
.Our stay was very nice. Property location is good. We did have a some trouble communicating with the property manager.
Great weekend with friends
Right on the beach and slept 12 of us comfortably. Would definitely book again.
Walking distance to many Great Resturants and Lounge Bars...Only short Drive to Sea World, The San Diego Zoo, Petco Park (where the Padres Baseball Team Plays), Downtown Gaslamp District and all that Beautiful San Diego has to offer....
