About Tahoe Diamond

I live and work in the Bay Area about 4 hours from this vacation home. I taught both my kids to ski at Diamond peak ski resort nearby. I sure hope you enjoy staying at our place as we do!

Tahoe Diamond purchased this condo in 2010

Why Tahoe Diamond chose Lake Tahoe Area

I fell in love with the lake view from the deck when I saw this property. I like mountains, ski and cold air while my wife prefers beach. Incline village is one of the few areas you can enjoy both. Pine trees outside the unit are growing fast, but we can still get a glimpse of the lake from the living room!

What makes this condo unique

Winter: ski at a number of nearby resorts

Summer: relax on the lake + enjoy a large pool of summer activities

Fall and spring: bike, hike, casinos, and restaurants! Tahoe is less crowded (and more peaceful) than usual during fall and spring.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a great vacation and would certainly stay there again if we were going to Tahoe. We loved the layout with all the bedrooms downstairs so that early risers didn't disturb the rest of us who were on "Tahoe Time".

The condo was very clean (that's important to us), all the kitchen and bathroom facilities worked well. It was quiet and had reasonably nice views. The Stellars Jays entertained us every morning.

Summer of 2014

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this property for a few weeks in the summer of 2014. The unit was clean and comfortable and well equipped. The owner was very responsive when we noticed the lack of an iron and the need for light bulbs. The location is so convenient (within blocks) to all the amenities that Incline has to offer, including beaches, golf, hiking, and the fitness center. We also enjoyed the colorful sunsets through the peek of the lake from the balcony. We appreciated the owner's responsiveness to any questions or concerns, and his clear desire to ensure his renters enjoy their stay. We booked it for a longer stay this year, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

Nice condo in a great location

  • 4 of 5

We stayed for a short 4-night ski trip w/ our kids and were very happy. The place is clean, nicely decorated, well furnished, and has everything we need. The best thing about this place is its location. It is 5-minutes drive from everything: ski resort, lake, Raley's, many restaurants which saved us lots of time after a day of ski. I like the beds too, they have firm mattresses.

The living area is bright and very spacious with plenty of sitting. I just wish it was on the first floor instead of the bedrooms to save use from climbing up and down the stairs several times a day. Lastly, the owner is super nice and responsive. Always answered our emails quickly and even provided us with lots of tips about the areas.

Just okay

  • 3 of 5

The property was clean and close to nearby Sand Harbor beach. However, the kitchen did not have baking sheets, kichen towels, or decent knives. A bbq would have been nice.

Owner's Response: Kitchen is fully stocked and we have provided our guests with one extra large Pyrex piece and and a few more in smaller sizes instead of baking sheets. They are oven safe and do the same job for baking but easier to clean resulting in a spotless baking pieces ready to be used by the next guest. Cleaning up the baking sheets is not that easy and often the dark greasy spots won't be removed. BBQ is a fire hazard and increases cleaning fee for all the guests. Not all guests are fully skilled in using a BBQ safely. Most of our guests prefer to use many BBQ stations in the incline private beaches. Staying in this unit entitles guests to go to those private beaches. I wish these guests would have communicated more efficiently and responded to my emails, so I could have helped them better.

Great Place to stay in Tahoe

  • 5 of 5

We just got back from a short vacation at Lake Tahoe. Everything was as we had expected. Very clean & nicely furnished condo. The owners make sure you have everything that is needed for a relaxing break.

It was the first time we stayed on the north side of the lake and we enjoyed the activities close by. We drove up to Mt Rose & hiked to the waterfall, which was a fun hike.

I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay there again.

You won't be disappointed

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here on Memorial Weekend and we were not disappointed. The location is a few minutes from town and was also a few minutes from the Hyatt where we were attending a wedding. The condo was everything I expected from the description and was in a great location. I couldn't have asked for more. I would highly recommend staying here and if we come back to Lake Tahoe, I would stay here again too.

Thank you for allowing us to rent the condo. We had a great time!

Everything was top notch, I appreciated the well equipped kitchen, the kids appreciated the wifi and the TV options.

We loved how close it was to the slopes. Diamond Peak is a perfect spot; small, family-oriented, welcoming feel, great views. I finally made it on skis on Sunday, and it was such great fun!

I used the Swiffer wet wipes, and left you another pack (Raley's brand) along with paper napkins. It is in the pantry on the shelves.

The kids and I would definitely want to go back this season.

Thank you again!
