About Tahoe Diamond

I live and work in the Bay Area about 4 hours from this vacation home. I taught both my kids to ski at Diamond peak ski resort nearby. I sure hope you enjoy staying at our place as we do!

Tahoe Diamond purchased this condo in 2010

Why Tahoe Diamond chose Incline Village

I fell in love with the lake view from the deck when I saw this property. I like mountains, ski and cold air while my wife prefers beach. Incline village is one of the few areas you can enjoy both. Pine trees outside the unit are growing fast, but we can still get a glimpse of the lake from the living room!

What makes this condo unique

Winter: ski at a number of nearby resorts

Summer: relax on the lake + enjoy a large pool of summer activities

Fall and spring: bike, hike, casinos, and restaurants! Tahoe is less crowded (and more peaceful) than usual during fall and spring.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a great vacation and would certainly stay there again if we were going to Tahoe. We loved the layout with all the bedrooms downstairs so that early risers didn't disturb the rest of us who were on "Tahoe Time".

The condo was very clean (that's important to us), all the kitchen and bathroom facilities worked well. It was quiet and had reasonably nice views. The Stellars Jays entertained us every morning.

We have just returned from our week long stay in this beautiful condo. My family I and were just delighted with the property and our stay. The house was clean and well-maintained . The layout was perfect with bedrooms downstairs and living space on second level and all of the decor . The rental was spacious, with ample kitchen storage and closet space which is not typically the case with shared condos. There was plenty of cookware, dinnerware and flatware and we were able to cook simple meals each night. We immediately felt at home here. We enjoyed the pool at the complex as well as the private beaches at Incline Village. It was conveniently located to shopping, hiking, Shakespeare Festival and the lake. Check-in was very easy and the owner responded promptly throughout the booking process. We had no issues or complaints at all and would gladly return next year!

Open, light, wonderful great room, close proximity to beaches, restaurants and Mt. Rose.

Had all the kitchen items needed. Loved the great room- open and light with a peekaboo view of the lake and beautiful trees. Complex was quiet. Loved the close proximity to events attended for wedding beach etc.

Nice Condo!

  • 5 of 5

This is a quiet safe complex with parking available outside the front door. While this condo is small, the lay out is is excellent with the three bedrooms and two baths down (one attached) and the living area with two small decks and a half bath up. There is a good peek of the lake on one of the deck, which is a bonus. The condo is updated with fresh paint and carpet with an overall nice appearance. It is not on the lake side of Tahoe Blvd, if that is important for morning walks, but it is close. The owner was very responsive to the few questions I had upon arrival (including finding the condo since the complex has odd numbering!). When I noticed the kitchen lacked a wine opener, he offered to reimburse me for it if I purchased it. Overall, this is a good value for the money in an expensive rental market!

Summer of 2014

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this property for a few weeks in the summer of 2014. The unit was clean and comfortable and well equipped. The owner was very responsive when we noticed the lack of an iron and the need for light bulbs. The location is so convenient (within blocks) to all the amenities that Incline has to offer, including beaches, golf, hiking, and the fitness center. We also enjoyed the colorful sunsets through the peek of the lake from the balcony. We appreciated the owner's responsiveness to any questions or concerns, and his clear desire to ensure his renters enjoy their stay. We booked it for a longer stay this year, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

Nice condo in a great location

  • 4 of 5

We stayed for a short 4-night ski trip w/ our kids and were very happy. The place is clean, nicely decorated, well furnished, and has everything we need. The best thing about this place is its location. It is 5-minutes drive from everything: ski resort, lake, Raley's, many restaurants which saved us lots of time after a day of ski. I like the beds too, they have firm mattresses.

The living area is bright and very spacious with plenty of sitting. I just wish it was on the first floor instead of the bedrooms to save use from climbing up and down the stairs several times a day. Lastly, the owner is super nice and responsive. Always answered our emails quickly and even provided us with lots of tips about the areas.

Just okay

  • 3 of 5

The property was clean and close to nearby Sand Harbor beach. However, the kitchen did not have baking sheets, kichen towels, or decent knives. A bbq would have been nice.

Owner's Response: Kitchen is fully stocked and we have provided our guests with one extra large Pyrex piece and and a few more in smaller sizes instead of baking sheets. They are oven safe and do the same job for baking but easier to clean resulting in a spotless baking pieces ready to be used by the next guest. Cleaning up the baking sheets is not that easy and often the dark greasy spots won't be removed. BBQ is a fire hazard and increases cleaning fee for all the guests. Not all guests are fully skilled in using a BBQ safely. Most of our guests prefer to use many BBQ stations in the incline private beaches. Staying in this unit entitles guests to go to those private beaches. I wish these guests would have communicated more efficiently and responded to my emails, so I could have helped them better.
