Satisfactory experience

Overall stay was OK. The condo seemed very nice and the host was responsive every time I reached out. However.... we did find black mold in the walk in closet. I made him aware but we had to take everything out of the closet and shut the door to prevent exposure to it. He said he would handle treating it once we left since it would take a few days. I had asked if we could have an extra hour upon checkout since our flight was leaving late and we wanted to be able to leave our belongings in there and use the shower after a morning on the beach. He said no because he had others checking in. well... there is my first concern and reason of why I will not be back to this rental. If he was truly going to treat the mold issue, then he would not have people checking in. If he truly cared to keep us happy, he would have given us that extra hour. I understand fully that it takes time to clean a place to prepare for the next guests to arrive however I am pretty sure that they just hid the mold as it was hidden behind some blankets on a shelf in the walk in closet when we arrived. Also, when we checked in, we went up to the room at around 1pm and it had not even started to be cleaned so I highly doubt us checking out at noon would have been an issue. The staff members at the resort were not very friendly and not very helpful. Check-in staff were nice and helpful but that was it. Overall, I would not stay here again as I could only imagine how most people would have reacted to visibly black mold in a bedroom closet. I felt we were very understanding that "things happen" but I didn't get the feeling the owner seemed to care to do anything.

Owner's Response: The problem of the mold was totally resolved. I didn’t put on purpose blankets to hide it. The guest had a lot of demands and everything was satisfied. When she made the reservation she didn’t explain that she needed extra time for check out. The apartment was in perfect condition and completely cleaned when she made her check in. I am a very responsable person with my guests and I like that they enjoy their stay. Some people like to find always problems...

Great Experience

The condo was nicely furnished with comfortable sleeping arrangements for 4 adults. The view was spectacular and the location couldn't be better. The building is very secure and well maintained. Pool areas are spacious and clean. Ines quickly replied to any questions we had and made sure we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this condo and would stay there again.

Needs updating. Building staff and elevators are terrible!

The condo really needs updating. The beds are not comfortable, the headboards aren’t attached. They are leaning against the wall with a mattress and box spring pushed up to them. They make a very loud noise if you need to get up in the night. The bathroom was old and not very clean. The master bedroom had no door handle, which I emailed and the owner responded quickly. The unit overall is just dingy and needs some TLC. That said, the biggest problem with the condo is the building staff and the elevators. People are for the most part just rude. They give very little direction or help as to what to do when you arrive. The valet is not valet. You basically pay to park your own car. The check in area was also a joke. Again, the staff were rude, and the office is in what I would describe as a laundry or working area of a building. The building has a beautiful lobby, but for whatever reason they have said lobby is beyond me. The lobby is where the check in process should be located. The small check in area was packed full of people, you have to bring everyone in to have a wrist band put on for the pool. You have to pay a $20 (CASH) refundable deposit for the parking tag which works the gate, however no one bothered to explain how that worked. The one thing that was really irritating to me was the access fobs for the common areas. They have you activate however many tags you request, but there is a $20 non refundable fee for each tag. This information is not provided in the listing and I was not happy at all. Now for the elevators...do not get in a hurry. We were on the 4th floor, and we had to wait every time going up or down. We had to literally push the button 3 or 4 times before we would get a car that had room for us to get on. Please note that they only allow 5 passengers per elevator and I believe there was only 3 to service the high rise condo building(the service elevator was out). It was not a pleasant experience, and I would not stay in any condo in this complex again, regardless of how nice the unit was. We booked for 3 nights, but left after the first night and did not return.

Owner's Response: The beds are updated 3 months ago. The handle was repaired the same day. The building works properly and staff is nice. The apartment after the guest checked out was a mess and very dirty.

Great views, owner was very responsive, easy to get in and out of building. Clean unit, well equipped. I do recommend informing the tenant that each key FOB and pool bracelet is for $20 and that's for two people only. If you are 3 or 4 you need two buy two FObs at $20 each. Other than that, we had a lovely stay
