About the property

Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 1.5 Baths, Skylight, Wood Fireplace, Mountain Views

This is a lovely condo that can sleep up to seven people, in the highly desirable Berrypatch area of The Aspens. It features one private bedroom with a queen bed, a roomy semi-enclosed loft bedroom with another queen bed, a queen pull-out sofa in the living room, and a window seat that can be used as a child's bed. The main bathroom has a tub and shower, and the half-bath is upstairs in the loft. There is a well-stocked kitchen, a wood-burning fireplace to keep you cozy on long winter nights, a flat-screen tv, Internet/WiFi, and a washer-dryer. Unlike many Aspens condos, the unit is light and bright due to a big skylight over the living room. It is perfectly situated half-way between the town of Jackson and Teton Village, approximately 3 miles from the south entrance to Grand Teton National Park and approximately one hour from Yellowstone National Park. There is parking in front of the building. Please note: the condo is located on the second and third floors of a three story building with stair access to the second and third floors, so it may not be suitable for disabled or elderly guests who have trouble with stairs.

About Patty McDonald

I came to Jackson Hole during college, worked as a journalist and backcountry ranger in Grand Teton National Park, and then spent 25 years in Washington, DC, before returning back to Jackson. I enjoy hiking, skiing, fly fishing, dancing, and travel.

Why Patty McDonald chose Jackson Hole area

It is located in the Aspens, which is conveniently and centrally located on the west side of Jackson Hole near the mountains, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Teton Village, and Grand Teton National Park. There are restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. The condo is beautifully furnished and can accommodate up to seven guests.

What makes this condo unique

There is lots of wildlife nearby, and guests often report viewing moose and elk right outside the condo!

Great Vacation Stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time on our vacation to Wyoming. We stayed 8 nights at this condo and it was perfect. Very clean, and just as pictured on this site. The condo was stocked with everything we needed: bedding, towels, kitchen necessities. We didn't lack in anything.

We saw lots of wildlife in the area: Momma moose and her calf just outside the condo and a bull moose a street over later in the week. In the Teton area we saw elk, black bear, black-tailed deer, bison, and osprey. The city of Jackson has lots of nice shops and places to eat. We also visited Yellowstone, which was about a 60 mile drive to the southern entrance.

The weather was beautiful - upper 70's to mid 80's the entire week with lots of sunshine (late August to early September).

We really enjoyed our time in Wilson/Jackson/Tetons/Yellowstone. We would highly recommend this condo. Patty, the owner, was very attentive to any requests for information.

Great location and loved the decor

  • 5 of 5

This condo is in a very nice location for visiting the Tetons -- close to the park and Jackson but in a very quiet neighborhood. It is very clean and had everything we needed to make the stay comfortable. We loved the decorations throughout. Patty was great to work with and responded to all communication very quickly.

There are restaurants nearby and also a small but well stocked grocery store at the entrance to the neighborhood. That grocery store is convenient for one or two forgotten items but very expensive. If you are stocking up for a long stay, head into Jackson and shop at Albertsons or Smiths.

Great place to stay and a great location

  • 4 of 5

Very nice condo near Grand Teton National Park. A plus was having the extra 1/2 bath on the second floor. Condo had everything we needed for our stay. Very accessible to restaurants and to the entrance to the park. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This condo is great for 5 or 6 people and is in a good location

  • 5 of 5

The condo was clean and fully stocked. The owner Patty was great and provided her phone number in case any issues arose. The property is nice and we saw several moose in and around the property. The location is about a 10 to 15 minute drive from the town of Jackson. If you are staying during the summer, it can get hot and there is no a/c, which I figured was customery for this area being at a high elevation. Other than that, our stay was fun and enjoyable and the condo looked exactly as portrayed in the pictures.

We really enjoyed the stay at this condo. It is super clean and cozy. We all love the decorations. We'll come again if we back to Jackson. And we'll definitely recommend it to our friends who have the chance to be there.
