Just completely awesome!!! I felt like a King and Queen. Our teenage kids likes the whole property and location for all sorts of water sports and going to Times Square. Great location on the island; in the middle of everything but yet quiet area on the beach for relaxing; quick 10 minute walk to get to the heart of the beach excitement. Super balanced for everyone. Be sure to try the FISH HOUSE for the freshest seafood on the island.

This home is lovely! We had a awesome time here. The beach was perfect during the week, we had it almost to ourselves. The weekends were crazy busy though! The house was warm and inviting, the pool was cool and relaxing and the beach was fantastic! This is most definitely the best place to stay on the beach! Thank you all for an amazing week! Hope to see you again soon.

Owner's Response: Thank you! We love having our repeat guests. Some have been coming as many as six years in a row. We like to think of them as long distant friends and try to make their stays as pleasurable as possible. The respect of our property is appreciated. We upgrade furniture, bedding, beach furniture, etc more than the average rental. Our marketing says "luxury" rental and we keep to that description.

Loved it

This house was the nicest we have ever stayed in on Ft Myers Beach. I would have packed differently had I known that the house had everything you need! The kitchen was lacking in nothing to prepare meals or drinks. There were 6 beach chairs, two umbrellas, and a canopy tent to set up for the beach. There was Bocce Ball and a corn hole game to play, along with a few children's sand toys and inflatable rings to float on. The pool and hot tub were well maintained twice a week. We had 9 people and there were plenty of towels and extra bedding. We only needed our own beach towels. Even though there were only 3 bedrooms, there was plenty of space. The view was spectacular and we loved the location. The beach front restaurant, Junkanoo, is just 2 doors down where you can walk right off the beach and get food or drinks or rent jet skis, jet ski tours or parasailing. Times Square and Topps Grocery are also very convenient, The owner was always very responsive with problems. We had no cable for 3 days and no power for nearly 2 hours one night because of the construction going on on Estero Blvd. That was very inconvenient as cable is important to us, but no fault of the owner. We will definitely stay again!

Owner's Response: This was a lovely family. We would love to have them return. The Estero Blvd construction is an inconvenience for sure and so is cable disruption. We called Comcast immediately on Christmas Eve but due to the holiday they came out 12/27. It appears the section of construction in front of this property villa Del Mar will be done in February. With new storm sewers and a bike path and a bigger sidewalk Estero Blvd will be enhanced.

Absolutely stunning villa rental!

This is a fantastic villa! Wonderful location and fantastic amenities. This is our second time staying here and it is the best VRBO we have ever rented. Once you arrive there is not need to leave. There is a convenience store across the street, supermarket, pharmacy and urgency room are close. Great places to eat within walking distance. You will not be disappointed.

Owner's Response: Thanks. All the truth that's why we love it here on FMB! We update furniture, linens, painting, etc to keep it very fresh, clean and appealing for you. We do yearly "deep cleaning" annually. And everything is close on the beach for walking, trolley, biking or car.

The villa is a beautiful home. Our stay was wonderful as it has been in the past.

The house and furnishings are top of the line. The owner works hard to keep it up to date. The dishwasher wasn't working when we got there but a new one was installed before we left. The ice maker was not working on refrigerator. A part was on order to fix it. Other than those couple of items it was a beautiful trip.

Owner's Response: Thank you. We do try to keep the property functioning at all times. The property manager and I check things at every departure and respond promptly during guests' stay. As a guest, you will have my direct email and phone number. I also live right next door and am readily available to you. Because this is such a highly rented property, we rarely have vacancies thus requiring a breakdown to be done sometimes during a guest stay. We try to AVOID this at all possible costs; we even have a back-up refrigerator in the garage since a vacation in Florida needs a refrigerator! We try to think of all possible ways to keep our guests happy and satisfied. The pool is serviced twice a week routinely, the beach is tractor groomed monthly, the property is mowed and raked weekly. All linen is removed after each rental and new sanitized linens are brought in for each new rental. The month of September can be rainy and we always schedule a 5 day deep clean of the Villa getting into those little areas that may not get noticed on the weekly clean. Annually we also paint the exterior and interior on an alternating schedule.
