Felt at home!

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect spot for our family get away. Quiet and peaceful but just a short drive to groceries and other amenities. My children loved the treats for the dogs and carrots for the horses that the owner left in our fridge. Coffee pot with pods was wonderful bonus in the morning. Webster lake which was right across the street was lovely to swim in and sit by in the evening.

Attentive owner, comfortable place, great lakefront

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed a weeklong stay here. The rail trail behind the house is fantastic. We biked for miles and miles. There is also a pedal boat and a double kayak at the lakefront, a croquet set, horseshoes, and badminton. Webster Lake itself is very quiet though anyone with very little kids should be aware that the road in front of the house is quite busy so be careful crossing. My 10 year olds were fine. Bronwyn helped out with a couple of small issues, and I thank her very much for accepting my 40 pound dog...not many places will! Have a great stay, all!

Spent a week at Aiken Manor and had a fabulous time. The lake is gorgeous, the property is immaculate and everyone was extremely friendly. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

This place is an absolute gem!

  • 5 of 5

Aiken manor is beyond amazing. If you are looking for quintessential country NH, this is your spot. The place was cozy and spotless! It's situated across from the lake with a fire pit and a gazebo. The place is set far back from the street and as you pull up you feel like you're going back in time to quaint New England! There are horses on the premesis that you can pet and feed. You can tell they are used to people! All in all such an amazing place! Highly recommend it! We look forward to coming back!

Great stay at Aiken Manor

  • 5 of 5

Aiken Manor and owner Bronwyn were perfect. It provides a very comfortable living space and a beautiful setting. We stayed for four days and used it as a home base while shopping for houses in the Lakes Area. There are many outdoor activities near Aiken Manor, unfortunately, we were too busy to enjoy any of them. Hope to come back and take advantage of all that it has to offer at some future time.

Well appointed and very clean

  • 4 of 5

Very well appointed and clean property. Lovely setting and location. The only negative that I feel should be disclosed is that there is a kennel that houses 5 dogs right next to the property. Thus the barking when people go by them is rather loud. I am a dog lover and my daughter loved giving them treats. I am just not a fan when I am trying to sleep or relax. I suspect that maybe if I planned to stay more then 2 nights maybe I would get used to the early wake up call or the noise! I think they go inside at night, but where they stay is still within earshot.

Owner's Response: Abby is a very nice person but she should have let us know if she wanted to sleep in late so that we could have moved the dogs inside and not brought them out until afternoon. There are four dogs, not five. The cChampion Shetland Sheepdogs are mentioned on the website along with the horses. This is the first time anyone has had a problem with the dogs. We are here to please so please let us know if the dogs are a problem and if you want to sleep in ;late.
