About Meredith Lannert

Our family has been venturing to Beaver Creek since 1980. McCoy's (the former base restaurant) was the only building on the mountain and it was simply a glorified tent! BC has come a long way. This has been a wonderful place to come back together as a family a few times a year. We are three generations now and all eleven grandchildren are avid skiers and will soon pass us up in skill level...but we are holding our own! We are all products of BC ski school and are all now 'expert' level skiers. I cannot say enough about the services of BC in general. From ski school, to roasting marshmallows at the outdoor fire pit at the Grant Hyatt, BC offers luxury!

Summers in Beaver Creek are phenomenal as well. Just breathing in the air is a vacation in and of itself. We enjoy hiking, occasional camping (although you may be visited by large wildlife!), and venturing to town for their great activities and open air concerts. Our favorite activity is biking with Venture Sports in Avon. They drive us up to Vail Pass and drop us off with rental bikes off and wish us luck! There is a paved path all the way down to Vail Village where we have lunch and then hop back on the trail to ride back to Avon. We started with several kids in bike chariots and tagalongs but now all are independent and it's a great adventure for us!

An unforgettable vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this house for a long weekend with a group of families. It was perfect for a large group, with an extremely comfortable layout and plenty of rooms and privacy for individual families. There was also great space for group activities, large group dinners, a ping pong table, movie room and hot tub. One of the best parts was the convenience to skiing and school with a complimentary on call shuttle. We had a wonderful time, and hope to come back again next year!

Lovely Property-- But Not in the Summer

  • 3 of 5

The house was in a great location and had lovely entertaining space (I loved the ice maker!), but we were a bit disappointed for 3 reasons:

1) The house and outdoor space was quite dirty-- lots of dust and cobwebs, which should have been taken care of prior to our arrival. We left the house much cleaner than when we arrived.

2) There was construction happening on the property (a staircase was being put in) and we were not informed prior to arrival. So while we were trying to use the porch and hot tub, there were workers right next to us. Additionally, this space was not cordoned off well, so we had to keep the children and pets far away. Not ideal.

3) The home did not have AC (which was not stated on the website), and there was only 1 plug-in fan in the entire house. While the basement and main floor were fine, the upstairs was 80+ degrees every night, which was not pleasant (especially for the pregnant one!). We've stayed in Beaver Creek every Memorial Day for the past 6 years, and this was the first home without AC. We were very surprised, and didn't even know to ask!

This would be a perfect house for ski season, but I would not stay here again in the summer.

Wonderful Beaver creek Property

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful location and layout of this luxurious mountain house. The only recommendation for the property would be to take down the Christmas tree in the living room. The tree was still up in mid-march. Other than that the property was great.

Great house for big group

  • 5 of 5

We had 14 for a ski trip and everything was comfortable and easy. Plenty of room for everyone. Nice kitchen for meal prep, nice size hot tub. The shuttle makes getting around Beaver Creek so easy. Five star trip.

Amazing place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We love this house. It has plenty of room and is very comfortable. It comes with its own babbling stream that runs next to the two decks, a patio and the hot tub. The owner was great to work with and very accommodating. If you stay here, please take care of it like it's your own home. This is a beautiful home and should be kept that way.
