Cozy Canal Cottage, so close to the town and the beach, WOW!

Bedrooms 2
Space 111 m²
Property type house
Minimum Stay 3 - 7 nights

About the property

House, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 8

This 'cozy canal cottage' is probably the most affordable home in Vero with water access to the the river, and/or the ocean by boat! It is modest but well located in the heart of Vero, and very close to the beautiful beaches. You can not stay closer to the beach without being on the barrier island, and spending much, much more!

The master has a Craftmatic adjustable, king bed and very large closet, floor to ceiling. The guest bedroom also has a king bed, with a similar closet. The large living room has a queen sofa bed. There is also a trundle bed (two twins, or king) in the now enclosed, former carport. The main bath has a bathtub, and the second full bath in the large laundry room has a stall shower.

The location in the heart of Vero is hard to beat, close to everything, offering superb comfort and value!

About Ken Freeman

I relocated from up north in 1990, to 'heaven on earth' in Vero Beach, and I praise God for the privilege of being here! I wanted to be on the coast in a smaller family friendly community, with lots to offer, so I moved from up north, in Orlando. I feel abundantly blessed.

Ken Freeman purchased this house in 2014

Why Ken Freeman chose Florida

Location, location, location! Quiet and peaceful, with water access to the Indian River Lagoon and ICW.

I loved the place. We were minutes from everything you could need for a stay. The beaches were amazing. The owners were very accommodating and easy to access at all times. I plan to book another trip very soon!

Had a great stay at this cootage on a recent trip to Vero.

Located on a quiet street, just a couple of blocks from the major roads.

Prior to arrival, the Owner was very quick to reply to emails. Would return to this place for sure.

* Lots of golf courses to play.

Top Thing to do in Budget:

* Navy Seal Museum.

Top Thing to do in Family:

* Fish under the bridge in shade.

Vero's beaches are less developed, and better preserved than most of Florida. One prior guest who was in the Navy for six years traveling the world, said these were the best beaches he had seen in the world. You can fish from the beach, or on the river, or venture offshore to fish from inlets just 10-12 miles north or south of Vero.

See the world famous Indian River lagoon by boat or kayak, and be amazed at the abundance of wildlife and water birds. There is an abundance of cultaral activities as well, including two theatres, the national Navy Seal Museum, Mel Fisher's treasure museum, and an outstanding art museum.

Tie your own boat to the dock, or rent our 14' aluminum boat and motor to see all the wonder of the Indian River lagoon.
