Cabin, 3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, 10 Sleeps
Why Alecia Hasselbeck chose Chalet Village
I searched for almost a year to find the perfect property for my family. Being between Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge you can get anywhere fast but at the cabin, you feel secluded. It really is the best of both worlds!

Very nice and clean cabin for family or larger group. The three floors worked great for kids as you can relax and visit on lower level while kids nap/sleep in the loft. Near other cabins but plenty of privacy. More seating that we could see/find in other listings. Loft was perfectly safe for younger kids that navigate steps and owner has safety gates available for infants/toddlers that are on the move. Location gave nice access to both Pigeon Forge and Gatliniburg. If you head to Gatlinburg you don't have to take the main road connecting Gatlinbug to Pigeon Forge. You can take a road through the hillside that comes out directly behind the aquarium at a parking garage with lower parking rates than some other places. This allows you to skip the downtown traffic but be right in the middle of the action.
It was our first time in Gatlinburg and we loved every minute of it! The cabin was quaint and cozy and fit our family of 7 comfortably. We enjoyed the views driving up to the cabin and saw two sets of momma bears and their Cubs! Will definitely be back!
We loved this cabin! We would stay here again. It was perfect for 7 of us. We saw bears several times. Loved the setting.
Cabin dated and rather dirty, but we enjoyed it anyway
The cabin was fair but quite dated. It was fairly dirty and definitely could use a deep cleaning and updating (cobwebs, dust on the floor boards, stains on furniture, dirty shower curtains, pool table was broken underneath, downstairs bath very dirty). We did see some bears VERY close a couple times. Also beware that there is not a place to turn around, so you have to back down a significant distance to leave. Overall we still enjoyed our stay. With a good deep cleaning and updating, this could be a great place to stay. The clubhouse was very nice with great pools!
We arrived with no check in issues.
The owner contacted us and said that someone would be there to change out the rotting picnic table, no one ever came.
The house had cob webs through out the house.
The hot tub was nasty, no chlorine tablets, water smelled moldy, owner was notified, they said someone would be down to add the chlorine, no one ever showed.
The game room had 3-4 broken cue sticks for the pool table.
We had no idea as to where the "resort" pool was located, no map or directions.
The cabin is a little out dated for the price.
If this would have been our 1st cabin rental, we would be turned off to future renting.
Definitely not worth what we paid for!
I am so sorry you had this experience. Every one of these has been addressed since you were there. I was not aware pool stocks being broken or the cob webs during your stay but addressed that as soon as I became aware. I’m truely sorry for your experience.
Property worn and dated
The all wood, log cabin showed a lot of wear. The deck and outside picnic table and chairs need cleaning and repair. The deck needs to be stained. The interior furniture was dated, worn and appeared dirty, as did the carpet in the basement and all the rugs throughout the cabin. The area by the baseboards was dirty, there was dirt and trash under the couches and chairs, area next to fireplace was dirty. Nails sticking up on the deck, several boards seemed loose. Pool table cover was stained. Bathroom toilets, sinks and showers did appear clean. Embarrassed for the guests we brought to the cabin.
Within a 10 minute drive to most Gatlinburg attractions. Ober Gatlinburg, downtown Gatlinburg, acquarium, museums, shopping, restaurants, Dollywood and minutes to trolley stop with ample parking!
