Comfy cabin in a great location
We loved this cabin! The location is excellent for exploring Kings Canyon and Sequoia. It’s quiet and very comfortable- especially for a family. The loft was the best part according to my kids (age 7&9)
Rustic Wilsonia,CA cabin
This is a rustic cabin with a rustic cabin guesthouse. It is conveniently located to all parts of Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. We were there with our two daughters and their husbands. It was perfect for our family vacation.
It is a rustic cabin, but is quite comfortable.
The owner was quick to respond to all questions I had. He responded promptly when there was a small issue our first day. By the end of the day the issue was taken care of.
We had a great time and are happy with our stay at this Wilsonia rustic cabin.
Excellent location within the Park. Other options outside the park require significant extra driving for a park that you need to drive a lot to see everything. As expected for an old cabin - mainly pluses, a few minuses. If you are super picky, this is not for you. But, it has everything you need and the inside has charm. The guest cabin is a definite plus it you need the extra bed. Pricey but again location, location.
Great setting, owner provided good supplies, little sequoias in yard. Very small showers. Beds comfortable. Not recently updated. Quaint nearly 100 year old cabin.
A beautiful, cozy cabin with a sense of history, covered inside with golden pine boards.
We liked the location within Wilsonia, it had lots of trees providing shade, not too close to other cabins, and was very quiet. The cabin was in good condition and had everything we needed to have an enjoyable 4 days. The price was somewhat expensive. We don't think we could routinely afford it.
A level above camping.
Not really a cabin. Spiders and webs everywhere. Outdoor grill was shouded in webs and covered with mud and pine tar. Not something I would cook on. No chopping block or hand towels. Not clean at all.
The community of Wilsonia and the cabin are located just a
few miles inside the entrance to Kings Canyon National Park off Highway 180.
The cabin is also only a few miles from the entrance to Sequoia National Park
also located off Highway 180. The
location of the cabin provides fantastic access to the natural wonders,
activities and events in both Kings Canyon National Park and Sequoia National Park.
The giant redwoods at Grant Grove are approximately 3 miles away. Other
relatively nearby attractions in Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks
include Hume Lake, Panoramic Point, Kings Canyon, Boyden Cavern, Big Stump
Basin, Cedar Grove, Crystal Cave, Zumwalt Meadows and Moro Rock. The cabin is also in close proximity to approximately
80 trial heads that serve the vast hiking trials in the two parks.
