Our townhouse is situated close to the end of Butler Avenue and is located in a quieter and more family-friendly area that offers easy beach access with no roads to cross. We think our location makes our home one of the best places to stay while you’re on the island. Within two or three minutes of stepping out the front door, you can be dipping your toes in the ocean, exploring the marsh side of the island or fishing from the back river pier. A five minute walk will take you to the shops in “downtown” Tybee, the Pier or one of a number of bars and restaurants located on the beach front and Tybrisa.

The home itself has 2 floors and is accessible via an elevator located in the parking garage under the building. It can comfortably sleep 8-10 and is laid out as follows:

On the first floor, there are 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms along with a modern kitchen and dining area.

• Bedroom 1 has a Queen bed with large TV & a private bathroom.

• Bedroom 2 is a great room for kids and has 2 twin beds and its own TV

• Bedroom 3 is off the living room with a very comfortable queen size futon.

The first floor also has a wrap-around porch that’s a perfect place to sit at the end of a long day at the beach, as well as a comfortable sofa and armchair to watch TV.

The master suite is located on the second floor and offers 2 queen beds, a full bath, a washer and dryer and also provides access to two decks with a fantastic view of the back river. Definitely the perfect place for a quiet escape!

Our townhome provides covered parking for 2 cars with room for an additional 1-2 vehicles. Complementary WiFi is also available.

Great location

This home is well maintained, clean, open, airy, bright. Decor is always subjective but I thought it was tasteful and appropriate for the beach location and atmosphere. We loved the decks which provided both morning and evening sunshine and had plenty of seating provided.

The kitchen is adequately stocked although we didn't use it as much as we probably should have. The property is walking distance to all the island (although with the island being 2 miles long, there's not much that isn't within walking distance). It's a short stroll to the beach (1 block).

For anyone looking for sleeping arrangement information: The upper floor is almost loft-like. The laundry is located up there in a closet just at the top of the stairs. Easily accessible and nice large capacity units. The room has 2 full size beds and a bath with shower. The nice part of this bath arrangement is that the double sinks are outside the shower room which makes it easy for 2 people to get ready at the same time. This space would be great for adult children. On the main floor are 3 bedrooms, one of which is an area that likely was an office converted to a bedroom with a full futon in it. One of the other bedrooms has 2 twin beds, the third has a full bed with a full bath ensuite. All the rooms have nice flat screen TVs. Again, the beach is so close that very little time was spent inside.

If you're looking for a nice place that's right near the beach and a 30-45 minute drive from Savannah, this might fit your needs.

Family gathering for holiday

This was a great getaway location and property for our extended family to meet and gather to celebrate Thanksgiving. There was plenty of room for us to have our own space but still have places for gathering in large groups. And walks on the beach were the perfect way to relax and have fun down-time. Clean and comfortable. All around, an excellent choice.

Good for the price.

To say the elevator work on Tybee time was a little misleading. A property owner should know is they work or don't work and be honest about it . The 3 floor climb with 3 small children and a car full of luggage and food was to say the least disappointing.

Once we reached the top and got settled in all was good. Very nice well kept unit with lots of room.

Everything you need to a great beach trip

This house was exactly what we were looking for - close to the beach, more space than expected, has everything needed for a relaxing weekend. We were easily able to fit 10 people and not feel cramped, and had space to park 4 cars, which was great. Particularly impressed with the speed of the owner's responses to my questions before the trip.
