Luxurious designer home & garden oasis in quaint village near City Centre & Sea
About Aine Flanagan
I am from Dublin, Ireland and have been in The US for 7 years now. My 1st Vacation rental Property is in Seattle and has been a huge success but this is my first vacation rental that I've listed here so I am working on gathering reviews during these early weeks! Originally a Psychotherapist in Ireland, now a Fashion Wardrobe and Interiors Stylist and have an eye for beauty and comfort and have designed many homes for rental. I live with my Husband in Seattle but we travel frequently. As hosts we like to give you your own space and privacy but are readily available should you need us. We have compiled a manual which will show you everything about the house and also give you plenty of ideas on what to do and where to go!
Aine Flanagan purchased this House in 1997
Why Aine Flanagan chose Dublin
This property is new on the vacation rental market, it was the first house I ever bought and it was love at first sight. I love the elevation of the property from its surroundings, the proximity to the gorgeous Monkstown Village with all its lovely boutique shops and restaurants. The feel of peacefulness that the home has and above all the gardens. We have recently reburbished the entire house and gardens specifically to suit the vacation rental market and really hope we have thought of everything someone on vacation may enjoy.
What makes this House unique
Our home is interesting, very unusual, eclectic and with a huge emphasis on comfort. Sheets are Egyptian Cotton, Memory foam on mattresses, lovely garden hangout areas, and incredibly unusual garden for the climate, peaceful with beautiful ambient lighting and thought to detail and style, its a real city retreat!

nice locaton but hard to find.had friends from tallaught as guests on sunday and they had a hard time finding us. perhaps you could use saint johns church across the street as a landmark. loved the area.things were walkable
Glad you enjoyed the house. Sorry your friend found it difficult to find but it its on a very main Street , clearly and very visibly numbered and is on google apps or any other phone maps so it should not have been difficult. We have never had any even international guest mention that they had difficulty finding it before!
We had such a wonderful time at this little cottage in Ireland! The house was very comfortable and had everything we could need! The beds were very comfortable and the water was plentiful and hot. It was within walking distance to the DART station and had bus stops on either side of it. We could easily take the bus or the DART into Dublin to see the sights or catch a train to somewhere else. Also, from the Dun Laoghaire DART, we were able to take a trip north to Howth or Malahide or south to Bray, Greystones, and Wicklow. This cottage gave us the best of both worlds!
We enjoyed P. McCormick's Pub just down the street and loved walking into the little town of Dun Laoghaire to shop, eat, have a drink, and visit with the people. We were able to go to the Farmer's Market on Sunday in the People's Park, and it was fantastic! We spent the better part of the day there. I would highly recommend this cottage if you like to be close to the city but prefer to stay in the suburbs. You'll love it!
Beautiful place to stay and so kind to leave coffee pods and a bottle of wine for our arrival
Backyard garden so inviting wish we stayed longer and beds were comfortable.
Absolutely felt like home!!!
Beautiful place. Plenty parking. Walk to Mcormacks is easy and delicious. Comfy beds. Plenty hot water. Beautiful kitchen. All the comforts of home. Our stay was international and we loved it here. The management is quick to answer any questions or concerns. The backyard is so relaxing and adorable. If coming in from United States relent your power converter for electrical use.
Highly Recommend This Private Property
Ideally located near Dublin and Dun Loughire, quiet, full kitchen and dining area, artistically decorated living room with television and comfortable seating, all amenities.
We hosted small gatherings of relatives and friends.
Owner has made instructions available to answer any questions and is also available for discussion by email through VRBO.
We look forward to our next visit to Ireland and will make every effort to rent this house again.
