Fantastic Location - Close to The Beach and a Ton of Restaurants and Shops
A friend and I stayed in this property for a weekend. We had a great time exploring Long Beach, the location was a perfect jumping off point for excellent food, interesting shops, and so much more. We had no trouble parking directly in front of the building and easily got into the building and unit with the codes provided by the owner.
The unit is on the second floor and the building did not appear to have an elevator. We had brought bicycles and had to bring them upstairs, which was difficult but not impossible and found the unit spacious enough for everything.
The queen sized bed was very comfortable and there is a daybed in the living room area. The daybed seems a bit less comfortable but great for kids or guests without bad backs. There are 2 spacious closets to stow all of your bags but not a ton of hangers.
The kitchen was well equipped with a refrigerator, oven, coffee pot, toaster, coffee, sugar, dishes, silverware, and more. The bathroom has a large tub and shower, a relatively small sink area, but plenty of space and works well.
The building is older and the unit isn’t fancy, but it is spacious, comfortable, and full of light with a view of the ocean. It overlooks a busy street and it can be noisy in the daytime but we found it quiet at night, even with the windows open. Mornings are very bright which helped us to wake naturally. I am a somewhat light sleeper but had no trouble getting restful sleep.
We did notice a few small issues in the unit and I emailed the owner directly about them. I had read previous reviews and found that each issue experienced by previous guests had been taken care of. The owner was appreciative of the feedback and I am certain the next guests will find the unit in great shape.
This apartment is a fantastic value for the location and I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it to others visiting the area.

There were things that were broken and not working. No coffee machine and I love my morning coffee. The apartment was clean and had a wonderful view. It is in a good location, but needs a little TLC.

A nice place to stay
The price was good and location was nice. I had inquired about parking before arrival and was told there is plenty of street parking. We were there a Wednesday into a Thursday and 75% or more of the parking in the area had to be vacated by 6 am on thurdsday am or would be towed due to stret cleaning. Also came home late one night and had to park 7 blocks away and walk it in rhe dark. Other than that there was on site laundry and a nice market across the street. The unit could use some silverware and kitchen towels. I felt wastedul drying dishes on paper towels. Also there is no A/C and it was pretty muggy a couple days.
Located 2 blocks from the Ocean. A nice 10 min walk to 2nd street shopping & restaurants/bars. We are also 5-10 min distance to Downtown Long Beach, Queen Mary, Aquarium of the Pacific, Convention Center, Cal State Long Beach and much more!
