The Tentrr Catskill View Pond is a tranquil site two ledges below the main house and out of sight.
This is an exclusive Tentrr site. Tentrr offers fully-equipped individual campsites on beautiful private land.
There is a 3/4 acre pond where you can swim and fish. A kayak and a rowboat are provided. There are a few hiking trails available on site, but within a half hour drive there are many state trails including to Huckleberry Point, Katterskill High Peak, Indian Head, Twin, Sugarloaf, Plateau, Hunter and Overlook mountains. Katterskill Falls and many trails at North Lake are nearby.
The campsite is 5 miles from Palenville, 8 miles from Saugerties Village and 11 miles from Woodstock. Serious kayakers can kayak in the Hudson River or Saugerties Creek, both within a 15-minute drive. Directions are provided to all the above places. Firewood is provided.
This campsite is off-the-grid, offering the chance to relax, unplug, and experience nature! There is no electricity or WiFi, and cell service is hard to come by. You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise.
When it comes to bathrooms, this campsite comes with a solar camp shower (that will be filled with water and can be hung anywhere around your campsite you feel comfortable) as well as an outdoor camp toilet (you'll line the loo with a provided CleanWaste bag, do your duty, then remove the bag, tie it off, and throw it in the garbage).
When you arrive, you'll follow the map provided to arrive at your campsite. Parking will be closeby and dogs are always allowed!

-A large canvas tent with a Queen sized air mattress
-A separate five person pop-up dome tent
-Picnic table and benches
-Outdoor camp shower and toilet
-2 Adirondack chairs
What you should bring:
-S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat
-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling
-Bedding and pillows for the provided queen sized air mattress
-Lanterns and lighting
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory!
Other Things to Note:
Feel free to use the row boat and kayak on the pond. Wear PFDs (3 provided). We supply firewood. There are directories of things to do in the area. We added horseshoe pits and horseshoes.
