Cozy 2 Br Modern Log Cabin With Rustic Style, Great Place To Start A Winery Tour
About Cheryl Santos
My husband Jim and I moved to Cayuga Lake in 2002 - he from Pine City NY and me from Hawaii. We both are naturally drawn to water, so Cayuga Lake was our chosen place. My husband has 3 grown children and he retired in 2012. Now our children are of the four-legged sort (we have friendly tale-wagging dogs and we invite you to bring your dogs along). We live directly across the street from the cabin and we are always available if you need anything. We take great pride in providing a clean, comfortable vacation property, and it is important to us that you have a wonderful vacation experience. We want to ensure that you’ll make memories here that will stay with you for a lifetime.

Why Cheryl Santos chose Romulus
We chose Cayuga Lake for its natural beauty, the variety of things to see and do in close proximity, yet also the tranquility of country living. We envisioned building a cabin here so we could share this unique area with others, providing a comfortable retreat for our guests. We designed and built the cabin as a contemporary modern space yet with rustic charm.
What makes this Cabin unique
Situated in a sunny field adjoining the woods, this log cabin is a tranquil retreat. It is very spacious for 2 – 6 people with an open floor plan, cathedral ceilings, and 2 private bedrooms. It is impeccably clean and is well equipped with most necessary items. A walking trail across the street gives you access to Cayuga Lake. The cabin is centrally located on the Cayuga Wine Trail. Nearby are hiking trails, biking paths, and quaint shops. The cabin rental costs less per person than many hotels, plus you have your own private space. The radiant floor heating warms the cabin to a cozy temperature on cool nights. It is also air conditioned for your comfort in summer months.

The cabins are an awesome place to stay. The owners treat you like family. Our dogs had a great time hiking in the morning and sleeping while we ventured up and down Cayuga lake. This was our second year back to these cabins and we are already planning next year. Thank you Cheryl and Jim!
Thank you so much for leaving this great review. We loved having you back to stay at the cabin with your dogs. You were all five-star guests! Kind regards, Cheryl and Jim
Great family getaway
This was the perfect place for our family of six plus two dogs. It had everything we needed and the owners were very friendly and helpful through our entire stay. We had a great experience, from what the owners offered on their own property of kayaks to the fire pit. And to what was immediately in the surrounding area to do for activities.
Hello Sarah - thank you for writing this great review, we really appreciate it. You were a great group and we would love to have you back any time. Thank you also for taking such good care of the cabin during your stay - you left it in excellent condition at check out. You are five-star guests! Kind regards, Jim and Cheryl
Can’t wait to come back!
This was my families first time in the area and we loved it! Cheryl and Jim created a book filled with things to do which was very helpful and helped us plan our days. The cabin is adorable and very clean. We will definitely be back!
Finger Lakes gorges & waterfalls!
This property is within easy access to several state parks that have gorges & waterfalls. It is clean, has a full kitchen, fire pit, pretty little porch & even hummingbirds! Cheryl & Jim were always available, accommodating & friendly. The state parks were amazing, & Taughannock Falls was spectacular! I would highly recommend this property if Cayuga Lake is your destination.
Very quiet and relaxing. Perfect for our needs as a small family
Easy to rent. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 due to the very uncomfortable mattresses. Had a hard time sleeping each night.
Hi Megan, thanks for the feedback. We are so glad you chose to stay at our our cabin for your Finger Lakes getaway. It is such a beautiful area and there's so much to do and see here. Sorry the mattresses were not to your liking. I wish you had let me know this after the first night and I would have gladly brought you an additional mattress pad to enhance your sleeping experience. Thanks again for staying at Cayuga Lake Cabins! Kind regards, Cheryl
