The 80sqm large, bright and warm (central heating) apartment is located in our converted half-timbered house ('main house') upstairs. It offers up to 5 people a pleasant home for your self-catering holiday. The apartment has 2 bedrooms with 2 and 3 beds, a spacious living room m. stylish, old furniture, a well-equipped kitchen with 4-burner stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle and multi-function mixer. The bathroom has a shower and toilet, there is a hallway and a storeroom. A cot is available. Radio and satellite TV are available. The beautiful garden can be shared.
On the same property is the former store with our second apartment ('storage house'). It is 60 square meters and offers you a sunlit living area, balcony, open kitchen and Danish Hems a beautifully cut apartment. The kitchen is modern equipped, the bathroom has a bath, shower and washing machine.
Surroundings and nature reserve: The villagescape is dominated by the Lower Saxon farmhouses. On the southern edge of the village is a large forest area with beautiful hiking trails, there is a good network of trails for cycling and in season a shuttle bus, which also takes the wheels for free. Rest areas nearby invite to excursions, z. For families with children. In the village there is a football and playground and a ping-pong table.
The nature reserve Lüneburg Heath (5 minutes away) is the most interesting part of the landscape here. Since its inception, it has been appreciated by visitors year round because of its landscape, especially the heather blossom in August and September. Problems with the heather are tried to be solved by imitating the former pest management, in which the herb is cut short over the root and thus stimulated to grow. That is why it is not yet possible to see bright blooming heaths in August at every spot in August. Detailed information is available at the Forest Experience Center Erhorn Nr. 1.
Attractions: 1. The city of Lüneburg (1/2 hour by car) is worth seeing. Numerous monuments and the carefully maintained old town bear witness to the great past of the city. Visitors are offered interesting programs.
Second The open-air museum on Kiekeberg shows the rural culture with impressive exhibitions. Children and adults can experience old crafts.
Third The Nidorfer Wildpark with its birds of prey shows, wolves, elks etc. is worth a visit and with its child-friendly facilities an event for families.
The Serengeti Zoo, with lions and rhinos and the bird park are similar parks near Walsrode.
4th In the east, the nature park Elbtalaue is worth seeing. Numerous water birds nest and live there in the side waters of the Elbe. Lately beavers live there, too.
5th Due to our proximity to the major traffic routes, the towns and cities on the North Sea and Baltic Sea are easy to reach, and Hamburg, with its diverse offerings, is just 1/2 hour's drive away.
Wellness massages: In the house it is possible, after prior appointment, to receive wellness massages from our physiotherapist. You can choose between 20 and 40 minutes of classical massage with special oils, as well as the hot roll.
The Lüneburg Heath offers more and more attractions. So there is in Bispingen z. B. the Snowdome and a facility to try out surfing. High wire gardens are in the area, there are open air and natural pools, indoor and brine baths. Several golf courses have been created.
In Hamburg, you can learn to windsurf or try water skiing and wakeboarding, or z. For example, visit the Miniatur Wunderland, or explore the beginnings of the Beatles at the Star Club. Several theaters and musicals, museums, concert and art halls and much more invite the visitors to special experiences in the Hanseatic city.
