The apartment, part of a former convent, is surrounded by the ancient Etruscan city of Vetulonia; from there you can see far into the country - according to Castiglione della Pescaia and Grosseto.
The apartment, completely renovated and newly furnished, consists of a large main room with excellent fitted kitchen, two bedrooms, each with double beds and magnificent views, two bathrooms, a space, also suitable as a bedroom, and a large terrace incl. Barbecue. The apartment is suitable for couples and families (up to five people).
Vetulonia, founded more than 2500 years ago, is located on top of a 350m high mountain, which extends over the plane that Maremma, rises. Even in midsummer blows here always a refreshing breeze.
The apartment: One reaches the apartment via a separate entrance from the alley. The front door opens a 30 sqm lounge with a modern kitchenette and a breakfast bar for several people; in the back of the room: couch, TV, large dining table and a fireplace.
From this room two doors lead into each bedroom; the windows face south and provide unobstructed view into the plane. The thick walls of the old convent building isolate the room acoustically well apart. Directly to one of the bedrooms adjoined by a bathroom: toilet, sink, shower.
An elegant staircase leads to the lower floor a bedroom and through room with another bathroom (toilet, bidet, sink, bathtub and shower facilities) and access to a more than 25 square meter terrace that and with table, chairs, sun lounger, parasol equipped - a Weber grill - gas connection is located on the terrace.
Alessandro Carresi Vetulonia and now comes from living with his wife Fabia Annoni and family in Rome. For generations his ancestors lived in the apartment, which has now been transformed into a holiday apartment. Not least of this family tradition, he felt obliged at the very loving and thorough renovation. The construction work was completed in April 2011.
