About Bob & Jeanie Ransom
After vacationing Up North for years and years, we finally took the plunge and bought a place of our own, and we couldn't be happier! The area's natural beauty and the constantly- changing Lake Michigan make every day seem out of the ordinary.
Bob & Jeanie Ransom purchased this Cottage in 2015

great location and amenities at the house.
Bliss on the bay
It was exactly what we were looking for. Private, quiet, clean and relaxing. The owners thought of everything. And the smart locks made arrival and departure very easy. We were far enough away, but close enough to shops and restaurants. 10/10 would book again!
Well-equipped with great view
Wonderful vacation spot.
Loved our week in Northport! The house was lovely, the beach was amazing, and Northport was wonderful. The perfect week away with friends in a super relaxing setting. We will definitely be back!
Quiet vacation spot
This was our third time staying at this beautiful home outside of Northport, MI. Very comfortable, everything you need, and your own little piece of a very private beach. It works perfectly for my husband and I and our 3 adult “kids”. Lots of room and a great way to spend some time together. We love it!
The Perfect Northern Michigan Summer Vacation
Our family enjoyed probably the best summer vacation we have ever spent in northern Michigan. We've enjoyed many northern Michigan vacations but our stay at the Ransoms Northport Lake Michigan Cottage was spectacular.
The cottage, the water and the beach were awesome. The weather couldn't have been better. We took advantage of the many recreational opportunities in the area which included swimming, kayaking, biking, hiking and even some golf. All this was available by just stepping out the front or back door of the cottage. It was a relaxing time viewing the sunrises and a campfire or two on the beach. I hope we will be able to do it again in the future.
Thank you Bob and Jeanie Ransom.
