Super fun house!

  • 5 of 5

Had an adult Bachelor Party (over 40 crowd) and the house worked out perfect. Everyone thanked me for getting such a cool pad. Taught some of the guys how to officially play shuffleboard and they were hooked!

(Nice touch by the owner having the official game rules printed out & posted by each game).

I think we managed to play every game available, even horseshoes and badminton in the back yard.

No little hotel style shampoo and soaps, so make sure to bring your own. Minor detail.

No hot water when we got there. Noticed the hot water heater was on low, so we turned up and boom.. All good. (We turned it back to low on checkout day).

House is cozy and clean. Beds everywhere. All the basics supplied, dishes, coffee maker, working bbque.

Couple of guys mentioned it would be perfect place to bring the family cause of all the in house entertainment for the kids.

Hope to be back soon!

We had a great time at this house! There were plenty of beds and the outdoor and indoor games provided a lot of fun for our crew. This place is very close to Pope beach and is also just a 15 minute ride from the casinos...great time, highly recommend!

For a wonderful time, stay here....

  • 5 of 5

A great place to stay, while enjoying Tahoe South! The hosts provided us with a very warm welcome and were extremely gracious and available if any issues were to arise (no issues). We have nothing but positives to say about the time that we spent. The house was a perfect fit for our family gatherings. When you stay here, the various games and activities in the house and in the backyard make it very hard to leave! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Perfect for a large family!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I and our 4 kids ages 7 to 15 stayed at Bonnie's cabin for 6 days recently. Our kids absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave! There was so much to do - volleyball, horseshoes, swing set, cornhole bags and fire pit all in the large backyard. When we weren't outside they were playing foosball, pool, shuffleboard or ping pong inside or riding the bikes out front. The cabin had everything we needed and the hot tub and sauna were nice extras for mom and dad! There are plenty of beds and bathrooms for large groups and it is close to everything yet in a quiet neighborhood.

Bonnie was absolutely wonderful and quickly answered any questions we had. My son forgot his blanket when we left and she has even tracked that down and will send it to us, which has saved the day for mom!

On a side note Tahoe is absolutely beautiful. We travel frequently with our kids and they all agree this was the best vacation yet. Make sure to rent a boat for a day, our kids had a blast on the water and the view is unmatched.

Owner's Response: Thank you for such a nice review! I agree, this summer especially with all the water finally filling the lake back up, the views are gorgeous. Winter is fun too! We're happy to give you a return renter discount if you make it back this way. :)

Excellent Choice for Large Family

  • 4 of 5

Our large family of 16 converged on South Lake Tahoe from 3 different states. We all stayed at the Harvard House which we found to have more than enough room for every one of us! Not only was there plenty of room and breathing space, there was plenty of entertainment for the kids ages 1 to 50! Fully fenced large back yard with a play structure for the little ones to enjoy the outdoors and many gaming tables inside for evening fun for the adults. Excellent location as it is a mere mile or so from Pope Beach (our favorite) or Camp Richardson, both which provide rentals for water activity on the lake. Raley's grocery (full service) or mini markets/liquor stores are nearby for last minute grocery run. The owners were very responsive when we had just a couple of items that needed addressed. Quiet neighborhood. The only reason I don't give a full 5 stars is that we would have loved air conditioning (most of us from Pacific NW where we are used to cooler weather), although they did provide fans. And a we had just a couple minor/fixable items during the stay.

Harvard House/BonniesCabin

  • 5 of 5

I highly recommend using Bonnie's Cabin to book your stay in South Lake Tahoe. Bonnie was very friendly and helped me out along the whole process. The Harvard house is a great place to stay and I would do it again! The cabin is very centrally located, minutes away from the casinos as well as the beach. Has endless games to play inside as well as out!
