Trish purchased this Villa in 2005
Why Trish chose Laganas
My journey to the island started in 2005 when I first purchased the villa, falling in love with the beauty and peacefulness of the island; the warm hospitability and nature of the Island people. There are some beautiful and safe beaches nearby with a great range of bars and restaurants. There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible with direct flights to Laganas Airport which is only 10-15mins away.
What makes this Villa unique
Blue Mountain Villa is nestled in the valley of Mount Skopos and surrounded by beautiful olive trees and countryside views.

Trish made the whole experience SO easy. Her communication before, during and after our stay was 10/10. The villa was totally as described, very spacious and with literally everything you needed for a holiday. We had the odd issue while we were there, but a quick message to Trish and it was sorted pretty much instantly. The air con was super efficient, there were plenty of towels and hot water we used all the appliances too including the wifi and I can’t fault anything. I would 100% recommend this property to my friends and family. Thanks for having us x
Tania, thank you so much for your lovely review, it was an absolute pleasure to host you and your family.
You would be welcome back anytime and really pleased you got to use all the facilities.
The villa is well located with local Greek restaurants, supermarket and bakery.
Villa is spacious, well equipped, away from the hustle and bustle so you get to really relax.
Love the island and the people, highly recommend the villa and zante.
Peaceful, spacious and has everything you need!
Stayed in this villa for one week with husband and 2 children. Was the best decision we made in terms if accommodation, spacious, has everything utensil you require, some basics were provided for us on our arrival such as bread, milk and eggs. We hired a car and explored the whole island. Absolutely loved our holiday, only problem we had was the heater didn't work in the hot tub, but as we were out all day and night this didn't bother us. Would definitely stay again if we returned to Zante. Thanks for having us
Many thanks for your review of blue mountain villa I am so pleased to learn you enjoyed the villa and the island of zante.
The hot tub is not heated as usually the sun heats it sufficiently.
We look forward to hosting you again in the future.
Really enjoyed our stay here, villa has everything you need and is in a quiet location. Perfect for exploring the island.
Many thanks for your review and really pleased you enjoyed your stay and you would be welcome back anytime.
Steve was a pleasure to host and pleased they had a relaxing time.
Not as secluded as we had hoped
Arrived after dark which made finding the place tricky, especially as the directions provided are inaccurate (all important bakery to look out for en route is on the right, not the left; same applies to the villa itself!). Villa looked like it had been locked up for the winter! Tried to call the number for Gioti, the housekeeper: answerphone. By chance (or perhaps because a neighbour alerted her that we were trying to break in!), Gioti's mother drove by, stopped and we quickly established they weren't expecting us for another month, and that the villa had not been cleaned/prepared. Hats off to her and her husband though, within half an hour they were back with clean linen, mops, brushes, etc. While we waited outside it became immediately obvious that Blue Mountain is not quite as secluded and hidden-away as we'd expected: the neighbouring two-storey multi-balconied villa completely dominates the main seating area and, to a slightly lesser degree, the spa pool (admittedly, there is a verandah off one of the bedrooms that is more secluded, overlooking olive groves, but during our stay it didn't seem to attract much sunshine). Because of the time it took to get the villa ready, and because there was no welcome pack (although Gioti's mum did kindly deliver some milk to us), we had no choice other than to go out for something to eat. Because it was just up the road, we decided to try out Dennis' Taverna. It was a great choice, especially as they welcomed us even though it was already 11.30pm! Internally, the villa was fine. A little dark (perhaps replacing some of the broken lights would help?), but fine. We did no cooking so can't say how well equipped the kitchen is. We used the TV once, and rewired the CD player's speakers so that we could hear some music. Otherwise, we spent most of our three days out and about ... we did enjoy the colour-changing hot tub though! As for the farcical start? Well, if Trish had been good to her word and had sent us the bottle of wine she twice promised, or had organised the welcome pack we were supposed to receive, maybe it wouldn't have featured so heavily in this review.
Hi there the date mix up wa s a total mistske on my behalf and as stated I have a local family looking after the property. I asked them to drop martin a bottle of wine off and this was not done.
It is very difficult to control people's experience from another country and the local family are paid for what they do.
I am very sorry to read this review and can only apologise to you.
