Perfect island Bungalow
We absolutely loved this place! When we arrived we were greeted by Elfie. She was so pleasant and helpful! Gave us a little tour, answered all of our questions and gave us some fun ideas of things to do. This place has everything you could possibly need! Comfy bed, full kitchen with all the necessities, sitting room with tv, spacious bathroom with a huge shower, and a private sitting area under a patio to sit and watch the sunrise and enjoy breakfast. There was even a welcome basket with goodies. Washer and dryer just outside along with beach towels, cooler, and snorkel gear to use. This place was clean, well decorated and had small touches all over that made it absolutely perfect! Loved it!! At night the stars are incredible from here. Just a block up from the ocean. View is beautiful. If you are a light sleeper, you will notice the coqui frogs but they didnt bother us at all. We felt it added to the atmosphere. We enjoyed the area although it was about 25-30 drive to Hilo. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!!
Beautiful garden with ocean view.
Quaint and rustic...a nice location to explore Hilo and Volcanoes National Park
This location was perfect for exploring Hilo as well as Volcanoes National Park. The property owners were awesome. We especially enjoyed the private patio and listening to the waves crash and the coqui frogs sing. Easy access to the areas devastated by the 2018 eruption. Try the Tin Shack Bakery in Pahoa for coffee and breakfast. An interesting mix of locals and travelers. All in all, if you are low key and self-sufficient and budget conscious, then this is a great choice.
We loved our week in the Garden Bungalow . Everything you need for a vacation is here. The hosts are so helpful and have provided a special place to base your adventures. The kitchen is so well stocked we cooked almost every night. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves and the frogs. Such a bargain for a quality rental. We can’t wait to go back.
The space was beautiful, well appointed, and very welcoming. So to were our gracious hosts.
