About the area
Split
This vacation home is located in Old Town Split, a neighborhood in Split. Port of Split and Split Marina are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Split Riva and Bacvice Beach. Croatian Maritime Museum and Natural History Museum are also worth visiting.
This apartment has a cozy, unique three story layout good for two or three people. Main floor would be cramped for more than three. Winding staircase to second and third floor are interesting, but could be difficult to navigate by some. Apartment is well equipped, location is great, appealing courtyard entrance, and the host is delightful.
Very clean suite/well stocked. Our hostess was very attentive, helpful and quick to respond. Amazing location close to palace, eateries and grocery stores.
Very nice host and a pleasant stay at the accomodation :)

About the host

I moved to Croatia for a change of pace after living in London. Over the last few years we have renovated properties on the island of Hvar and in the Old Town of Split and we enjoy renting these out to guests from all over the world. Croatia is becoming an increasingly population destination and I think Hvar offers a great mix of relaxation and vibe depending on what you are looking for. Split is an amazing city to explore "the Barcelona of the Balkans" Hvar is the ideal location to relax, a memory of what the Mediterranean was like 30+ years ago. If you are not tied to school holidays then April, May, September and even October are beautiful months to visit the country, you get much more for your money and there are no crowds. Whatever you end up doing - Enjoy your Croatia !
Why they chose this property
It's right in the middle of town but offset in a courtyard so its quiet at night - which is important as parts of Split can be really loud for much of the night !
Split is a great town to people watch and within a two minute walk are all the cafes along the water front !
What makes this property unique
From the Tattoo parlour to the Tax Office - everything is within a few minutes walk! Split is a vibrant and small City so it is great to be right in the centre of it all.
