About Victoria Sewell
I am an outgoing person with a passion for the sea and the outdoors. Whenever I have a free moment, I enjoy going on holiday to Cornwall, Pembrokeshire and Anglesey. I always pack a wetsuit and a BBQ, snorkel, mask and walking boots and make the most of exploring our gorgeous British coastlines. Being based in the Northwest, I cannot visit my 'lovely' lodge as much as I would like and feel that it is only right that I should share it! I hope you enjoy it and the area as much as I do.
Victoria Sewell purchased this Chalet in 2013
Why Victoria Sewell chose Lelant
Whilst visiting family on the park at Christmas, we found out that the chalet we were staying is was for sale and were lucky enough to buy it in March 2013. St Ives and the surrounding area, is a great place to visit and the lodge is in a perfect location for us. Close to gorgeous white sand beaches and turquoise seas, it is a fantastic base from which to surf, fish, snorkel, swim and walk whilst also being in easy reach explore the cultural and culinary delights the local area have to offer.

Close to everything
Gorgeous little chalet , everything you could need for a short stay. Close to lots of walks , beaches and attractions. Only down side was the small uncomfortable seating , not at all relaxing after a long sightseeing day out .
So sorry to hear you were uncomfortable Debbie. Having invested in new furniture at the beginning of the season I was disappointed to hear this, especially in light of all of the positive reviews I have received this year. The furniture is made by quality suppliers and consists of a smaller size 3 seater and a standard size tub chair with a pouff to put your feet up. With the size of the chalet we didn’t want to have too much or too big furniture to make the space feel too cramped. All the best.
Love staying here
Easy and good value
O’Neill holiday 2019
Property was as described, lovely and cosy, equipped with everything we needed. Woodland surroundings great. John Fowler park being upgraded, which we felt was needed. A fantastic family holiday.
Perfect little lodge to explore Cornwall
We absolutely loved the lodge, perfect location (both its quiet, tucked away location on the site and for exploring Cornwall). It is homely, cosy and the nautical decor is lovely. It’s very well equipped, with lots of little extra touches that made our stay even more comfortable.
The lodge is in easy reach of so many of the beautiful beaches and sights that Cornwall has to offer. We will definitely be back!
GREAT location deff go again
Perfect wee cottage
Highly recommend this spotless and beautifully decorated wee lodge. Although it is small the space is very well thought out with everything you need. Lots of hooks and pegs for hanging clothes make up for the reduced cupboard space. The beds are comfy and the park is quiet at night. Victoria was very helpful and prompt in dealing with queries we had before arriving and the staff on site are similarly helpful. We did not use the facilities much because the weather was so good but the pool would have been a godsend on any rainy days. A good location for beaches and sightseeing. Well worth every penny 😁
