Cottage in Rhydycroesau, Nr. Oswestry, Shropshire, England - Rural Retreat For Two, Ideal For A Relaxing Break In The Midst Of Beautiful Countryside
About Jean Blake
I am Jean Blake. My husband and I, together with our three boys, moved to Tanygraig Ucha over twenty years ago. Six years ago we converted our stable into quality self-catering accommodation for guests so that they could also enjoy the beautiful rural surroundings that we have enjoyed for so long. We have recently both retired from school teaching and now have more time to give to our eleven acres on the Shropshire/Wales border. We are both keen gardeners and also enjoy walking with our dog Bracken in the surrounding countryside and travelling.

Thankyou for a fantastic stay at your beautiful stable! The property and grounds are stunning. Within the stable there is absolutely everything you need for a stay away from home, fully equipped kitchen, and a very welcome and delicious lemon sponge cake which we devoured with the lovely touch of tea, coffee and milk which were left waiting for our arrival! Thankyou so much this was a great addition and unexpected! Great DVD collection to snuggle up with the wood burner roaring after cooking a delicious meal, absolutely perfect, and we loved seeing the wildlife outside of all the windows each day! We will be back!
Perfect peaceful getaway
The Stable is a lovely cosy place to escape from everything with that special someone. Comfy bed, wood burner and under-floor heating in the shower and kitchen. Nick and Jean are fab hosts and provide everything you need, including homemade yummy cake! You can see all sorts of birds out of the windows and the views are stunning. There are some lovely woods to explore up the hill. We loved it here.
Amazing Home from Home
What a hidden gem, perfect and peaceful, hope to go back again soon.
