Why Mrs Christine Teuten chose Teigngrace
We bought this charming cottage in 2011, spent 6 months renovating it to a high standard, and this is our third year of renting it out. We stay there ourselves whenever we can. We find it's an excellent antidote to city living! We love this part of Devon, its remote yet accessible, in the country , but only a couple of miles from civilisation. There's loads to see and do here. I feel we have only just started to explore this part of the world there is so much here.
What makes this Barn unique
The whole of south Devon is on your doorstep with much to offer for the adventurous or outdoor types. Alternatively, you can just chill out and relax in wonderful surroundings.

A fantastic stay
We have just got back from a fantastic stay at 2 The Linney. The property was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. It really did have everything you will possibly need. The garden is a lovely and the children (2 & 4) loved watching the squirrels and visiting next door’s Shetland ponies. The other neighbour also let the children use their trampoline. It is a very peaceful location with only the bird song and bees to hear, but only 5 minutes drive to the Expressway so very convenient for exploring Dartmoor and South Devon. The children particularly loved the Miniature Pony Centre and Blackpool Sands and we spent a beautiful Easter Sunday splashing and playing in the river only 20 minutes walk away. We also visited Castle Drogo and spent some time walking on Dartmoor.
My only (very small) request would be for thicker, darker curtains in the twin room as it was a bit too light in there to get the kids to bed in a prompt fashion!

Lovely property, very clean and comfortable. Great location.
This property was in a great location to explore Devon. The cottage was spotless when we arrived and had all the facilities a family could need and was very comfortable. Also the welcome pack was lovely. We would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay and would come back again.
Lovely well positioned beautifully equipped barn conversion. Lots to do nearby .
We loved our stay. Two adults and two children (4&5). Ideally placed in a quiet location with easy access to the coast and Dartmoor. Shaldon is close and has great food.
We especially liked the garden for its birds and wildlife.
Thank you for a lovey stay, we will return for sure.
