Amelia Cottage, Burry Port, Carmarthenshire, Wales - Dogs welcome
About Richard Nash
My childhood was full of freedom, sunshine, fresh air, of being near the sea, beaches and big open skies. Having lived in London and Bristol for many years, I would yearn to be back and would be happy to spend time trekking in and out to get those few precious days on or near the coast and return home relaxed and replenished. It has been a long term ambition to be within a stones throw of the beach and the sea and one day I just woke up and thought it's time to make this happen - so, as they say, 'Where there's a will there's a way' and it has proved to be one of the best decisions I've ever made!

Had a lovely week in Burry Port. The cottage and its location were fantastic, would definitely use again. Thanks Richard
The cottage was perfect for us (2 adults, 9 yr old, & a golden retriever), and the garden was particularly lovely! Only a 10 minute walk to the harbour and beach, and local shops. We would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing break!
Lovely cottage and great garden, good location for pubs, shops and beaches.
A nice little cottage, great location for the harbour and beach and as a base for exploring South Wales. Facilities of cottage exactly as needed. A really good relaxing week’s holiday.
Amelia Cottage 5 Star
Amelia Cottage was an ideal base for our visit to South Wales. It was clean, comfortable with everything we needed.
The milk and tea and Welsh Cakes left for us on arrival were a lovely warm welcome after a very long journey from Northumberland. Very highly recommended.
A lovely cosy little cottage a short stroll from the centre of Bury Port.
Well equipped with everything we needed for a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The garden is superb and a great place to relax and chill out. Richard was very helpful and answered any queries we had quickly. On departure we forgot a couple of coats and Richard has arranged for them to beposted on to us.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Amelia Cottage and would highly recommend it. Thank you Richard!
