About Rachel Wylie
Purchased in 2012, the conversion of the Coach House has been a labour of love. We have tried to keep the essence of the building whilst giving it a new lease of life. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
Rachel Wylie purchased this Cottage in 2012
Why Rachel Wylie chose Wells
Dinder is a very special place, we have lived here for twelve years and still feel like we are on holiday, we would like you to feel the same. The Coach House is a cosy romantic retreat set in a beautiful Somerset village. No street lights, no through traffic...... Heaven.
What makes this Cottage unique
Cosy and warm in the winter, yet cool and bright in the Summer, this is truly your year round holiday destination. No through road or street lights, so very peaceful and you can see the stars at night.

Cozy & quiet
Very cozy place with the modern kitchen. It is in a remote location ( a pretty rural village ) so it is very quiet.
The kitchen was very clean and spotless but the bedroom was bit dusty
We did lots of walking everyday and missed having a bath to relax coz they had only a shower. But overall this place is amazing to stay
Peaceful, spacious accomodation
More spacious than the look of the photos, this beautiful old coach house was a great base for our holiday. Perhaps the only down side was on gloomy days the lack of view from windows.
Lovely stay in a lovely cottage
The coach house was beautifully presented, clean, tidy and a very nice welcom pack of goodies on arrival. The owner, Rachel was there to greet us, show us around and to give us any information about the area we might need. We loved Wells and Glastonbury Tor and Glastonbury Abbey ruins and were out every day even though Storm Doris was around! Definitely be back as so much to see and do in this area.
Thank you for your lovely review. Look forward to having you to stay again, no storm next time I hope.
Very well equipped and furnished. Fantastically comfortable bed. Well situated in rural Somerset
Very warm welcome from Rachel, nice treats to settle us in. Despite the weather being bitterly cold we tackled the footpath across the fields to Wells, nearly came unstuck or rather stuck due to underfoot conditions but made it to the palace grounds. We self catered but there are plenty of eateries in the area.
HI WE STAYED FOR THREE DAYS, IT WAS LIKE GOING BACK IN TIME , A REAL COUNTRY VILLAGE FEEL, THE COACH HOUSE WAS BEAUTIFUL, IT HAS BEEN FULLY RENOVATED TO A 5 STAR STANDARD, VERY WARM AND PERFECT FOR A COUPLE PLUS . ONE OF THE BEST WE HAVE STAYED IN , THE OWERS WHERE REALLY NICE , BUT NOT INTRUSIVE AND LEFT US ALONE ,AT THE SAME TIME MAKING US FEEL THAT ANYTHING WE NEEDED THEY WHERE THERE . MANY THANKS AGAIN , WE WILL BE BACK, WHEN WE CAN GET IN . CHEERS.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this wonderful review. We are really pleased you enjoyed your stay and hope to see in again in the future.
Many thanks, Rachel
See trip advisor but wholeheartedly recommend the property
