About Sara-Jane welch

Why Sara-Jane welch chose Saint Ives
As a child I holidayed in St Ives every year with my family, Aunties, Uncles and cousins. Since having our children we have continued that tradition and visit every year. My husband proposed to me on Porthmeor Beach. So our love for St Ives encouraged this latest venture. We are looking forward to many more holidays in the future. Our home is special to us and we hope that those who stay in it feel the wonderful vibes that this house and St Ives has to offer.
What makes this House unique
Bedford Road is situated in an idyllic position very close and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, several beaches and the beautiful picturesque harbour.

It was lovely
It was a lovely house and we really enjoyed our holiday. The house was big enough for all of us and it was a really enjoyable holiday.
Good Value, Clean, Stylish
Spacious modern bathrooms, spotless, stylish décor, useful outdoor space, open-plan downstairs layout is ideal for family gatherings.
It's good value - a few minutes further away from the beaches than many but with the benefit of extra space in a quiet location.
SMALL niggles: the fridge is too small for the number of beds and only one front door key a bit of a nuisance.
Have stayed in lots of properties in St Ives and would thoroughly recommend this one.
So pleased you enjoyed your stay... the fridge is being replaced as we are aware that it is too small!!! There is a back door key which can be used too, however will consider a 3rd key for next season.
Thanks for the great review.
Great property in a great location in St Ives.
Family of 7 stayed here comfortably. Short walk to the harbour and local shops.
Comfortable, relaxing property.
This property was great for our family of six. The children, aged between 14 & 4, all had plenty of choice when it came to sharing and/or not sharing, and there is plenty of flexible accommodation.
Location wise, it is close to the centre, but not too close.
Facilities wise, there are all the usual mod cons, decent WiFi, TV (although we really barely used it) and plenty of local information.
We parked at the local rugby club, and did not use our car once, as everything is either easy to walk to or accessible by train (which is great).
You can get shopping delivered, but as there is only a small fridge and ice box, don’t make my mistake & order a lot! It’s worth it to not have to lug loads of shopping up the hill though.
If you want to go to St Ives, I thoroughly recommend this property.
Hall Family from Bucks
Great Town Centre location and really enjoyed being able to walk everywhere. Also peaceful and quiet street with little traffic so ideal all round.Just need a bigger fridge !
Many Thanks Sara-Jane
So pleased you enjoyed our home...
PS...We will be replacing the fridge!!!
Great location, great value!
We had a fantastic October half term week in this lovely house. There were 8 of us (2 families) and the 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms gave us plenty of space. While downstairs is not huge, we all squeezed round the dining table for convivial family meals and card games at night. There were plenty of cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.
The house is in a great location just a few minutes walk from the main shopping street and harbour. There is no parking spot but we paid for a week in the nearby long stay car park (£47).
It was useful having the little back yard with hosepipe and washing line for washing and drying off wetsuits at the end of the day. There is a decent dishwasher and washing machine in the utility area, though the fridge is rather small for 8 people! All in all, a great place to stay.
