About Carol Ross
Carol and Andrew Ross love rural France, the friendly people, the hot summers and mild winters, fresh fruit, blue skies, smell of cut grass and the sound of the village clock as it chimes the hours as they pass. Carol looks after the property while andrew works across Europe.
Carol Ross purchased this Villa in 2001
Why Carol Ross chose Marseillette

Enjoy: sun by the two pools; a drink at either of the 'Baa Baa' Bars; a sleep under the trees; or a game of boules, come sample the fun.

A wonderful week in a beautiful house/area
We couldn’t fault our week in Tango. Beautifully kept and kitted out, it was home from home but with the benefit of sunshine and a pool! Carol and Andrew were the perfect hosts and made sure we had everything we needed and all the information we wanted for the local area. It is a super base for exploring the wine region, historical sites and it was particularly nice to have bikes available to cycle down the Canal. All in all a perfect week!
Wonderful space to enjoy much needed r & r
Great welcome from Carol and Andrew, lovely pool and poolside areas. Barbecue was much used, bread every morning from the grocery/ bar and Trèbes very nice for canalside dining. Enjoyed day trips to Minerve, Narbonne, Gruissan beach and Lagrasse. Aircon was essential, great to have it. Louis was a regular visitor and a joy, what a well behaved dog, just took discipline from us to resist feeding him!
La belle Maison Tango
Great property and amenities in Tango were excellent. Pool was terrific!!
Nice hosts, Louix the dog and the location to the Corbiere and Tarn areas made for great day trips and a relaxing holiday.
A fabulous property in a beautiful location
So impressed by this property and the owners. We felt really welcome and found everything we could possibly have needed, and lots more. The pool is fab and the air conditioning was very welcome in the heat of August. The bikes proved really popular with the kids and we loved cycling alongside the canal to buy croissants from the village for breakfast. Thank you for a truly memorable holiday...we will be back!
Excellent property with a fab pool!!
This was our second visit to Tango and we were even more impressed the second time around. This was the first time for us to revisit the same holiday accommodation and it felt like coming 'home'. Carol and Andrew are great hosts and have made a wonderful holiday home with the added addition of their dog Louis who visited us every night without fail. The pool is fantastic as is the whole accommodation. We hope to return again very soon.
Lovely people, beautiful property and stunning part of France
We wanted a relaxing holiday where we could just get away from everything and that’s exactly what we got. Great base to explore the surrounding area from mountains to the Med. The city of Carcassonne is a must!
Petites Ecuries is located in the middle of Marseillette village, near Carcassonne in the southern Minervois region of the Languedoc. It sits on a hill between the Canal du Midi and the river Aude.
If your looking to see and experience an authentic French village, explore the many villages and picturesque countryside, discover great wines and wonderful food then come on down, you’ll love it. Or if you’re like some of our quests they just laze around the pool and garden soaking up the sun. Watch the canal boats meander along the canal du midi at the bottom of the garden.
Want to explore a little further a field then follow Cathar history, check out Beziers, Minerve, Caves (Dinosaur), Narbonne & the Mediterranean Sea, Sigean Wild Life Park and Spain are all close by.
Marseillette has Boulangerie, Bar, Hotel, Cave and in nearby Trebes & Carcassonne you’ll find supermarkets, petrol, chemist, newsagent, banks etc.
The property sits within a UNESCO world heritage zone.
