Mourvedre is in a building called La Batisse and has some history as a French barracks during wars, as a wine cave for the chateau opposite, as shelter for the locals during wars etc.
It has now been redeveloped into several modern clean and luxurious apartments with a central courtyard for relaxation, private parking and cellars for storage.
it is in the centre of a small sleepy French village but very close to lots of tourist areas such as Narbonne and its mediterranean coastline, Carcassonne and its historic port, Minerve and the Cathar history and is also in the middle of the Languedoc-France's largest wine growing area. try find that 1 euro a bottle wine!
The 270 km canal du midi runs thro the village and has lovely restaurants on its banks and the black mountains are nearby.
Local airports are in abundance eg Carcassonne, Beziers, Perpignan-and the Spanish Border is not too far away.
