Silverstone Circuit, home to the British Grand Prix is under 10 miles, and there are many National Trust properties in the area including Canons Ashby, Stowe Gardens and Buckingham Chantry Chapel. Other historic houses close by are Castle Ashby, Althorpe House, Princess Diana’s final resting place, Rockingham Castle, Sulgrave Manor, Broughton Castle and Cottesbrooke Hall and Gardens.
