About David & Renee Rusterholtz
We grew up in Pennsylvania and New York State, but loved to take vacations in the West. In 2003 , we moved to the beautiful state of Colorado. We love the mountains, the Pines and the fresh air. It's like heaven on earth.
David & Renee Rusterholtz purchased this Cabin in 2016
Why David & Renee Rusterholtz chose Florissant
This is a very unique piece of property because of the landscape and beautiful landmark rock formations. It calls you to explore and imagine.
What makes this Cabin unique
We love the Western culture and our Cabin is filled with decor from the West that takes you back to what the great American West is all about. From the Leather living room furniture to the rustic wood furniture and floors, we didn't cut corners decorating in a way that is appealing to both women and men. A taste of authentic western style. You'll enjoy hiking around the property and through the unique Pikes Peak granite rock formations. At this time we ask that you do not climb up to the very top. We are not responsible for falls, injuries or worse. There are great views of Pikes Peak from several places on the property.

Awesome cabin and property!
This cabin and property was just wonderful! It was beautifully decorated, very clean, and it had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. We had fun exploring the property! We hope to be able to come again!
Clean, comfortable , close but far enough away for privacy. Friendly owner
Thank you for the review! We hope you will return in the future.
Wonderful setting & fantastic hosts
Loved our stay at this cabin. The cabin is comfortable, cozy, and well maintained. The property itself is full of places to explore and is very peaceful. Our 8 yr old had a great time climbing on the rocks & building with them as well...like Legos to her! We were fortunate to meet David & Renee and they were super nice people. Very friendly and helpful and my daughter was ecstatic with the fossils & rocks that David was so kind to give to her. Thanks to him her suitcase was 5 lbs heavier on the way home...all rocks! Would highly recommend staying here and we hope to return soon.
Thank you so much for your review! We really enjoyed meeting your family and that your daughter enjoyed the rocks. We would love to have you come and see us again.
