Perfect location

My husband, 22 year old daughter and I stayed in this great apt for 3 nights. The location was perfect. Within a few blocks from the water and so many restaurants. Just up the stairs from a main square with even more restaurants. The apt was very clean and well maintained. The upstairs loft with low ceiling was a little tight for my 5’6 daughter but she managed. Joelle and her husband were perfect hosts and very helpful. Would definitely recommend this apt.

Heart of Marseille

We enjoyed the location by the Vieux Port, fun to take the ferry to the other side of the port and boat rides to the Calanques. Near shopping and restaurants, interesting central neighborhoods. Apt. was perfect for our needs, bathroom and kitchen were contemporary design and clean as could be. Roomy and perfect for 2, with a bedroom on first floor as well as a loft bed above, maybe for children (kind of a tight squeeze for adults). Host Joelle was extremely helpful and kind, prompt to respond to any question we had, both before and during trip, which we very much appreciated.

Great place to stay in the heart of Marseille

This is a great apartment to stay in. Joelle met us to check in and made sure we had what we needed. She also pointed out things to do while we were there. Definitely recommend!

I wasn’t too sure when we first arrived as the street did not feel safe little did we know 5 steps in the other direction the street opened up to a whole area of cafes it was wonderful

Convenient for walking to most city attractions

Joelle was easy to communicate with and congenial in wanting our stay to be perfect. The apartment is located within view of the old port when you walk out the front door but the view from the apartment windows is the city recycling dumpsters. Most people should not mind the view as this location provides easy access to the night life at the plaza, old port activities, local grocery stores and boulangeries, museums, shopping, and city landmarks. If you spend time at the apartment, you will notice the couches are pretty low and not really comfortable. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Thanks Joelle for your hospitality!
