Great for children. Disproportionate safety deposit made us uncertain and hypersensitive about damage an accidents. Probably need to be very clear about what it’s for... wouldn’t stay again based on this
Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Would definitely go back again.
Nice and quiet amongst the trees. Walking distance to the beach. The house has everything you need. A great place to unwind and relax.
A lovely home with everything you need in an amazing natural setting
I would highly recommend Samsara as a holiday rental to anyone looking for a relaxing private retreat. It is in a central location on Magnetic Island, a short walk to Alma Bay and a short drive to any of the main bays where you can find restaurants and shops. The house is set amongst natural bushland with great balconies to observe the wildlife. The house felt homely and inviting and had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. My children loved swimming in the creek that ran next to the house and exploring the property. A highlight was the kookaburra who made regular visits around mealtimes. Eleanor was a great host who was easy to contact and gave us lots of useful information about the local area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Samsara. It was a great property that had everything our family needed for a wonderful stay on Magnetic Island.
Fantastic house amongst the trees!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - a fantastic, clean and quiet little home amongst the trees. We especially enjoyed breakfast with the local kookaburras. Eleanor was a fantastic host, I highly recommend staying here, we would like definitely like to return!
Quiet and relaxing
It was nice and peaceful. Two kookaburra’s visited every morning, waiting to be fed. I even got to touch them. On our last day a koala climbed a tree near the verandah and casually nestled there right in front of me and we got to take photos.
The only concern I had with the property is that it’s on stilts and the bedrooms are actually joining lofts and it’s not stated in the ad and this is left out in the pictures. Im just relieved we didn’t have any older people with us, disabled people or small children.
I think the place is tired and needs updating. It leaves a little bit to be desired for a holiday rental.
I rented a lovely house last time on Maggie and I didn’t need to pay a $200 deposit. I don’t think I’ll be back.
Every thing was as expected very comfortable ,easy to access and hidden away I will be returning ,Gary Lyasght
